Africa United and the Adelaide Villa incident

match abandoned with 3 mins to go when the 3rd Africa player sent off assaulted the ref! Pathetic displY from Africa,3 players receiving red cards!
Villa totally dominated game
And to make this worse, the same player no35 striker, decides to chase the ref to his car!
Absolutely disgraceful, ifhe and the club don't getthe book thrown at them, it's a conspiracy!
John the ref had a great game
Aside from all the racism in the other thread (which I do not condone one bit), has this been resolved by the SAASL? Are Africa still in the competition? Will they be around next year? Will Stirling get screwed over by the SAASL? How many teams are going up from Division Two?

You could say the same thing about Division Four and the SA Bullets. Has any of the Division Three boys heard anything about them?

SA Bullets has been suspended - this is definite, and also why that arguably their best player ("Harry") and the only one within that rabble that appeared to have any intelligence transferred to MA Hawks before the June 30 deadline.

As for the incident that occurred after the Africa v. Villa match, I spoke to the Referee ("John") who was involved. He always stores his bag, team sheets etc in the car during the game and was walking to his car to collect after the game when the knob who he had sent off during the game decided to follow him. Not knowing what was about to happen, the John drove off, parked his car around the corner and walked back to the ground to get the team sheets signed and to return player passes. Nobody else was involved so it would be reasonable to assume that the player only will be suspended.

The most that will happen is that the club will be suspended for the rest of the year and probably end up in the relegation zone.

However, is it appropriate for you to label clubs as a "rabble" on a public forum? Considering you referee these clubs.

If he's seen first hand how they conduct themselves I believe he has every right to express his opinion.

ahhh ok.. my bad, I heard wrong. Right decision was made then. Africa needs to go too until they work out that the soccer pitches here arent the mean streets of whatever country they have come from..

If they do go however... It will be interesting to see how the league handles the relegation... do Stirling go down?

Australia is made up of migrants,as much as some people on this forum will try and tell you otherwise. So your suggestion is that everyone that disobeys the law should be sent back to wherever they came from?

Given the spelling and grammar I would say English is a second language for you as well mate! Give my regards to the Grand Wizard at your next Clan meeting. Also, I am reasonably sure 'sending them back' might be outside of SAASL's budget.

Okay, put it like this. 9th and 10th place will be relegated and two team will come up. Anyone above that is safe. If one of those two going down leaves the league third place in division three gets lucky and will be promoted to keep the numbers in division two (ie they will take the place vacated by the team leaving the league).

I didn't ask for comment about what happened. I asked for comment about the consequences of what happened. Have Villa been informed that they have received the 3 points or the outcome of the referee's report?

Considering the scoreline I'd say that we got the points. No idea about the ref's report and probably won't know until stuff get's published.

Sure you don't want to play out the rest of the season Jack? Alex broke and dislocated a finger a couple of weeks ago at training so we're running pretty thin on keepers now. Hopefully we can avoid any further injuries.

Does the SAASL publish their outcomes? Their website never says anyting about these issues and we only find out through this forum.
