A big day at the Glenunga Superdrome on saturday


The E's entertaining Adelaide FC with none other then Bodo in goals. He made some nice saves too! Despite his best efforts OISC won 2-1. Any question of offside for OISC's first goal should be put to rest.

The D's absolutely destroyed an inexperienced Falcons side 10-0

I couldn't stay around for the C's who drew 3-3 from what i hear.

The real story of the day was the B's cup game vs BOSA. An early goal for OISC put them in the box seat but BOSA came back to make it 2-1. With 15 minutes to go OISC leveled the game to take it to extra time. First half extra time saw BOSA hit the front again with a swift counter-attack to have it seemingly in the bag. But OISC rallied in the second half extra time to level it and then amazingly go ahead and win the game 4-3 after 120 minutes on a typically muddy Glenunga pitch.

Bacon played a brilliant game. He just about plucked every cross out of the air unfortunatley didn't drop any of them. He had no chance with the goal though. I was directly behind the line of it and I don't think any keeper would have stopped it.

ACU Falcons. I learnt on Saturday that ACU stands for "Adelaide Copts United". They are involved with the Egyptian Coptic Church I believe.

ACU Falcons. I learnt on Saturday that ACU stands for "Adelaide Copts United". They are involved with the Egyptian Coptic Church I believe.

Thats correct Kitchmo. We started out in 2001 as the Adelaide Knights just playing kickabouts with teams from Ethiopia, Sudan and some other African teams.

Then in July last year we decided to enter the SAASL, initally it was going to be one team but due to the large number of 14-18 yo's in our community we decided to enter 2 teams, our reserve team is made up mainly of those younger players with the exception of a few.

Some of our A's left their Premier League clubs and our President left his SAASL Div 1 club to join us becuase this was a club by us for us. We've had overwhelming support from our community as anyone who has visited us at our ground may have noticed and I believe it was a good decision to enter 2 teams as the players in our reserves especially could play for another 10-15 years with us which is something most other clubs would stuggle to claim.

In regards to results we're about where we expected, the A's being competitive with most if not all teams and the B's (most of which have never played club before) trying to get a structure together and challenge to our best ablility.

I think the futures looking good for us but that was just a bit of background Alain Prost.

It's the cardinal sin. What are we always taught... ???? Play the whistle. Unfortunately the flag went up straight away and I saw it and more or less stopped. Not saying I would have got to it anyway but it threw me. Had the pass been reversed (ie from right to left) I probably wouldn't have seen the linesman.

Looking at the video.... yep not even close and your referee was right to over rule it. The under twelve type lectures were annoying though.

I wish you got a look at our goal from my angle. Bacon had no chance.

i have a fantastic sense of humour, i accept that he was trying to be funny, but surely u have to agree that is a pretty piss poor attempt at humour! I've been to funerals that were funnier than that!
