Smashed ya's.................

fu kin what? you didn't smash sh. it you scored 2 fu kin penalties before you scored from real play. in fact we scored thru direct play before you did.
and the fact that the ref knew every one of your players by 1st name doesn't bode well for you either

yes 2 penalties you cant argue with and a geat goal in open play.
dont start about the ref knowing our players. you where smashed on the day just accept it.
You are more than welcome to Bring It On.

Oh and yeah before i forget...God damn team defending with all they got for 70 minutes...bunch of sissies...

From an objective point of view I'm sure. :clown:

What's the matter, copped a few bruises and didn't get the expected easy 3 points and boost to your goal difference so now you're having a whinge?

Remind me again of all the chances your lot had? 1 deflected poster in the 2nd half, 1 cleared off the line in the 1st, and the goal. Yes complete domination, if it wasn't for your sweeper with a couple of last gasp tackles when caught on the break your lot could have easily copped a few more - the rest of your defense was a shambles, just ask him.

Was a good game to watch I thought - pitch was a faaarken nightmare and didn't make it easy for the players, was hard and tough with tackles flying every where. Last 15 minutes Bosna pushed hard for an equaliser and were in control and luckily for them they got it with a few minutes left.

Not having seen many amateur matches this year, and looking on the ladder I expected Bosna to be better than they were. Good result for our boys considering we had 3 good players out on the day, although I know the feeling after the match was that it was 2 points dropped.

dunno what game you were at but i thought we were the better team in the 1st half, i would hardly say smashed when the difference was 2 2nd half penalties. anyway you got the points regardless of how it happened and the penalties were there so, whatever and good luck for the season.

Beograd were unlucky not to score on a couple of moments. Referee was extremely ordinary, I would give him no more than a 5/10.

Both teams moved the ball around well, but In my opinion Asteras looked hungrier for the win and they seemed they had it in the bag after they scored their first goal. Confidence was running high. Asteras sweeper shut alot out and I mean alot! For me he was outstanding today as was their striker who buried a hatrick.

On the B's game, although it was a heavy loss, Asteras keeper did well and still pulled of many great saves. My favourite moment was when their own Schmeichel pushed up front trying to score from a corner.
I thought we played with a sweeper as well?? One guy shouldn't be allowed to score 3 goals in that situation... but we've been terrible at 'manning on' this year. The boys must be disappointed... Every game is a must win from now on!!
Beograd didnt play terribly, I think the smaller pitch didnt suit your style of play.
Your wingbacks werent as effective as they were at FMP in the 1st game.

Looks like you missed your 'number 10' in the middle behind the strikers, Zoki or Zoran or something like that. He was very good in the first game.

======

As for the league overall....
Sorry to say I think Athelstone will join PPostel in div 4. Cant see a way back for them.

At the top I think Brahma will romp it in to take the title, 6 on the trot now. They were certainly the most focussed and driven team we've played.
Bosna almost certain to join them unless they have major brainfarts in the reverse fixtures.

Between 3rd and 8th, I can see the table chopping and changing every week. Any team can beat any other on their day. Would take a massive effort for someone to dislodge Brahma/Bosna at the top. But like last year, you never know 3rd place might get up to Div2 aswell.

That's normally where I play. Our wingbacks are both good players but fitness is an issue. A wingback needs to be able to run from end to end depending on who has possession of the ball.
Yeah Zoki is a top player. Went overseas 2 days after the Croatia game couple of weeks ago.

The Brahma Boys are on the piss AGAIN AGAIN.

Another good win for the Brahma boys, It did take us a while to get started but with no real threat from SC. The Second half was a different story as we came out smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaashed em.

For me, Postel and Athelstone are gone... Croatia are starting to pick up points and will have a strong 2nd half of the year, and I think South Coast will snatch points along the way as well.

Looking at the Reserves ladder, there is four points separating top from 7th!

Beograd will regroup and get third spot with croatia and blue eagles just behind. They will find it hard to recover from 4 players from A's going overseas.

B's will finish strong and win the league 3 years running. Heres hoping

no offense but beograd will not finish 3rd, with the players you had on the weekend you will keep sliding, i think the players that left need to be replaced with new signings.

Asteras will push 3rd spot, dont worry about that.

That's the same side that convincingly beat the in-form Croatia a couple of weeks ago and with just a little bit of luck could have beaten Bosna last week. I'd say it was just a bad week... and wouldn't be the first for us (consistency was a problem last year and is again this year).
The midfield group hasn't changed since the start. The new signings are there now as far as I know, and also with me still to come back and inject some speed and fitness into the back line.
Chips and general, what's the point of going for 3rd.... in reality 3rd spot doesn't mean much as only the top two get promoted. The new coach has clearly indicated that the intention is to get promoted this year and has started implementing some positive changes. It will be tough from here but not impossible. It will start with a win over Brahma at home!

There is still a long way to go... and most teams are still in it.

as for Beograd v Lodge... i think the Lodge will b too strong. even though it is prob better for us if Beograd wins, especially if ur relying on luck   should be a good game.

Did they like our so-called "BMX track" so much earlier in the year, that they made one themselves ??

Give me a BMX track over a cut up cricket square on a footy field any day.

But we have better - they're just not good enough to play on it.

They have nothing - glass houses and all that...

They will forever be a yoyo Div 3 or 2 amateur club...while our club will compete and host Feds, Junior Colts, Masters, Amateurs etc
