Hmmm....not sure if its the right forum though I suppose FootballNews is related to the media.

The website is now averaging around 5 million hits a month or 60 million hits a year.

It is continuing to grow and it might not bee too long before it reaches 100 million hits a year.

do you have any stats from these hits? perhaps what % is coming from interstate? 5 millon hits is quite a bit!

The hits are coming from everywhere. Around 80-90% from Australia - the rest are from overseas. We have taken almost 1 million hits from overseas in the past month.

Some of the unusual places we are getting hits from include Qatar (1475), Nigeria (1641), Hungary (4195) and Portugal (4386).

Cracked 6million hits in September last night.

Starting to wonder if FootballNews can break the 100m hits per year mark if it keeps growing at this rate.

i got that number ip address just incase work block footballnews! lol, i dont know if you are able to help, but i cannot watch some of the soccer clips that are put on here as work has blocked youtube, do you know of a way of gettin around this hurdle? thanks

would be interesting to see if the increase in hits correlates to an increase in posts

Yeh would be interesting though would have to look into how we can extract it.

Just under 7.5m hits in April 07 and heading towards 9m hits in May 07.
