after the much anticipated return of the cumby prems keeper... she let us down. she made some easy mistakes, played with the ball. a real failure.
hope she picks up her game...
cumby 4 - 1 para hills.
ref wasnt that great... let some dodgy stuff go thru, but then gave away some really easy frees... i think when he worked out cumby would get vocal he started making some better calls...

Div 3 game Cumby v South Adelaide had a bad injury to one of the SA players. Hope she is OK. Just to let the SA coach know Cumby had only two players from Div 2 playing for Div 2. Both players are 15 years old and it was the goalies first game in goal. Well done Cumby.
Fulham just seems like they are having a bad year. Thought this Sunday Fulham could beat Metro...but Metro simply proved to be too good. Too strong in all departments, 3-0 is not a result you can argue with. I still think that Fulham will come back, but when?
Olympic 1
City 4
Heard it was a cracker of a game with both team playing well.
Campbelltown - no offence intended, but sacking the coach was not the way to go IMO. They still conceded a lot, this makes it 20 goals against in three games... Feel sorry for the players who actually don't play too badly, but there are standards in the Premier league that they obviously don't always meet. Hope they don't drop it and come back being competitive, but at Campbelltown they really have to start working things out.
was 3-0 at half time tho so clearly Fulham didnt rock up to play in the first half. Have shown they can match it with the best but its just getting the stuff together for 90 mins which is proving the issue. holding metro to 0-0 second half is def a positive. they had some chances aswell. Pretty crappy conditions and the 3rd goal killed us. were never going to come back from that

it's been one game idiot. give the girls and the new coach a chance.

Many thanks ecky, will keep in mind. "No offence intended" meant that I'm simply putting forward my opinion, if you knew anything you'd know I sincerely hope the best for C'town. This though doesn't change what's happening in the squad. They can do much better than this and they know it, players, coaches etc. But again, it's only my opinion!

I think you mean playing for div3?
From what I saw of the game it was a good one.
Hope the Panthers girl isn't too badly injured.

A coach doesnt make the team Bad Egg. Im pretty sure its been said in another topic (round 8 predictions?) that the campbelltown girls know that they can do better, and are hoping to improve...
and i know its your opinion, and thats fine, but i have to agree with ecky, give them a chance. its been one game with the new coach, lets give them time to regroup.

well i mean really, what more were you to expect from such an obvious failure? might as well say that she fails at life really, since she seems to go out and fail every time she tries something.
yeah true. we should be used to her failing by now... but still, you'd think after not playing for 9 weeks she'd be able to just come in and play an awesome game, but no.
lets in an easy goal...
very disappointing.

yeah but she was alright before her injury.
its like after 9 weeks off or something she's just lost it. i mean, cant even kick anymore... straight to the opposition everytime!
