Milan vs Juventus

Post by Juventino »

After the struggles of the past 6 weeks and the way our defence has been going in this period I really think a draw is all we can aim for here. I cannot see us keeping a clean sheet, not when we leak so much and opposing us is Inzaghi looking to get on to the end of Kaka (or many others) through balls. We really do need something out of this match though because if Fiorentina win later today then the gap will be only 2 points ahead of our match.

Team news, and Chiellini, Grygera, Tiago but we must do without Molinarom Marchisio, Knezevic, Sissoko and Salihamidzic, all injured, while Mellberg and Nedved are suspended.

------------------Buffon
Grygera---Chiellini---Legrottalie---De Ceglie
-------------Tiago-----Zanetti
Camoranesi---------------------------Giovinco
------------Del Piero---Amauri

Or Ranieri could go really defensive in midfield and field Poulsen instead of Tiago. But that will just be inviting Milan forward and we've shown recently we cannot defend. So yeah, maybe not the best, but it could be an option if we somehow hold them out for a while.

Not looking forward to it in a way, but I want to see if we can show some spirit, some heart and some pride and turn it all around.

Also, if Del Piero plays tonight against Milan it will be his 600th match for Juventus. What a legend.

Milan fans, give us some team news.

I will get up but have concerns with the forms of both sides, they are flying and we are sinking.

milan fans? All in the closet or on another bandwagon but i'm sure they'll jump out or back on if they get a sniff.

Another draw but this time it feels good to have gotten it considering ours and Milan's form coming into this match. Obviously you want to win but better to see how we played overall here and were able to hit back, rather than give an insipid display like against Lecce. Good to see we hit back straight after conceding as well, at least we showed some fight.

Thought it wasn't a bad result for Juve at all.
Liked Amauri/Iaquinta up front although they lacked communication at various times.
What is the word on De Ceglie?
All we need now is for our defence to keep re-shuffling!

any result which doesn't cause players having a spit is a good result these days for Juve
