Premiers
Cumby 6 : Sturt 4

Entertaining game having sturt up 4:2 in the second half and the young cumby squat came back kicking
four excellent goals in a row to win.

Div 2

Cumby 7 : Sturt 3
Good game from cumby using again some of their U17 Players.

i would guess its funny because people wanted more positivity.
so instead of saying fulham must've played badly, they're telling us that olympic played well.
give a team a break!

i just dont see the need for all the smart ass comments that have recently come onto this forum in the last month or so. If people dont have anything seriously about football to say, dont bloody post. and before people have a go at me about the right to an opinion, if u read again, i didnt say people cant have an opinion. Just keep the talk about football minus the bullshit, no one wants to read it. If you dont understand, then take a look in the local forum and get a hint.

well done to all the teams who won their games this week, im sure there were some trying conditions around the place.

Fulham have currently lost 9 first team players from last season so basically rebuilding phase. fulham down to 10 women about 30-35 mins into the game which was a dicey call. penalty was missed and then allowed to take again....knobjockey ref who missed a few obvious calls and a 4 year old linesman (not to mention a linesman running the line whilst on his mobile phone in the second half) didnt really help the cause. Not taking anything away from Olympic as they got the result but yeh they will finish either 4th or 5th....im thinking 5th

Agreed 100% :D

How was the Fulham game then? How did Olympic win? They have a good defense, but I didn't think they'd score 3 against EW... In preseason they beat Metro tho and so far no one else did. I think Olympic can play to win the title this year if they don't have injuries. Well done to Olympic!

Fulham and Sturt: Ouch!!

Despite all their problems and the strength of the opponents it's fair to ask why these teams concede so many goals. What happened to their defences?? They have great keepers (National teams level!) and overall many good players but don't seem able to keep a clean sheet these days.

Their players and coaches should probably ask themselves something (no disrespect intended)...

What happened to Wirkus and Gubbins? I guess Fulham didn't really have their team then...

even so you'd think their defence would stand up and prevent some of the 6 goals.
though the goal from half way couldnt have been easily prevented by the defence... just an unlucky bounce over the keepers head into the back of the net :D

cumby went down early and fought back.
cant complain with the result

iunno what happened to sturt
is TJ leaving really having that big an impact?!
nothing much else changed...if anything, the w-leaguers shouldve gained experience?

maybe, sturt haven't become worse from last season, but they havent improved...whereas the rest of the league (mostly) have improved lotsss, and overtaken sturt...?
