That result is half redknapps fault half poor defending. Redknapp should have taken Bent and Lennon off after 55 minutes, Zokora for Lennon and Hudd for Bent. If Zok had been on and tagging Rooney 2 of those goals wouldnt be in existance becoz Corluka got sucked in on Tevez and left Rooney..Gomes shouldnt have been beaten at his near post for goal number 2 also...This will haunt me for a while now.

I agree with Joker it was only a matter of time before they did snag one but i think the penalty really helped them along because i think our heads went down a bit and Man United were fired up. I dont think it was a penalty but at the same time i dont agree with Redknapps abuse of Webb, Gomes did touch the ball but only slightly, for someone to pick up that touch from where he was would be very difficult and would be easily seen as a penalty.

Our first half was great though, Palacios, Lennon and Modric were all superb, not to mention Keane dropping off a picking up the balls deep and starting moves. Whenever the ball got to Lennon you thought maybe there was going to be a goal at the end of that attack, good to see...

I concur, especially with Lennon. He is great and in the first half Patrice couldn't handle him and two plays from him resulted in two goals for Tottenham. In the second half Fergie obviously told united to double up because as soon as Lennon was getting the ball two of our players were closing him down quickly.
