Good to hear San Marco picked up their new Senior Coach so quickly with the season starting so soon.

Bob is a nice guy, but I think he is lacking as a coach. He seemed to favour the older players, even if there were younger guys that were playing better. That said, we were promoted in 2001 when he coached, but I think it was more to do with our assistant coach and the calibre of players we had at the time.

hey futcha which club are you involved with?futcha wrote:what's the latest on new coach?
Is it true players are leaving and have left due to coaching issue?
Re: San Marco - Senior Coach Required
actually it was 4-0 i know i will probably get a response from the gully boys but i dont think 4-0 was a true reflection of the game, they got two penalties and where the better team on the day but we had nothing up front and were missing two of our best players, also another new coach was appointed on Tuesday night before the game so it didnt leave him much time, anyway we can only improve from here and this week will be a tough road trip to pecker park but heres hopingtotti wrote:hey bada bing 0-3,thats not good,

He has to have surgery on his achilles so he couldnt do it, funny he was appointed coach and quit as coach before he even took a session, that would have to be a record.Aldo Serena wrote:What happened to Bob Piatenesi?BADA BING wrote:also another new coach was appointed on Tuesday night before the game so it didnt leave him much time

The guy in charge of you guys against Gully on the weekend, what's his name, does anyone know?
I reckon I either used to play with him at Campbelltown or against him in juniors.

Agreed mate. If we finished our chances in the first half we would've been 4-0 up at the break. In response to Bada Bing thought the first penalty was a bit harsh, however the second definitely was a penalty in my mind. Good luck this week against the Peckers lads.Ginger Bread Man wrote:your right the 4 zip result should of quite easily been 8 zip!! good luck against the grove this week and for the season boys..!BADA BING wrote:actually it was 4-0 i know i will probably get a response from the gully boys but i dont think 4-0 was a true reflection of the game, they got two penalties and where the better team on the day but we had nothing up front and were missing two of our best players, also another new coach was appointed on Tuesday night before the game so it didnt leave him much time, anyway we can only improve from here and this week will be a tough road trip to pecker park but heres hopingtotti wrote:hey bada bing 0-3,thats not good,

Adam that's right. I reckon I played against him while I was at Campbelltown and he was obviously at the Blue Eagles. Is he coaching you guys now permanently & not playing at all or?BADA BING wrote:I dont think he played for Campbelltown but i know for sure he played for Blue Eagles, his name is Adam Di Girolami.Ronnie#10 wrote:The guy in charge of you guys against Gully on the weekend, what's his name, does anyone know?

He was always a quality keeper by what I remember so he'll be a handy pick up as well when he's fit.
