How long Before Some Premier League Clubs Fold?

Post by billy the kid »

It looks like the inteerst in the Premier League is slowly dwindling. Those key players who were the "leaders" of Prems Clubs are joining the exodus of players now starting to leave (or have left) the game OR moving to lower divisions where there's less hassle.

My assumptions are based on the lack of ineterst around the place AND the fact that with only a couple or so weeks left before the season's start, some clubs are struggling for numbers and opposition for trial games.

Its a slide that started a couple of years ago and if you read between the lines of some of the comments around the place, its happening.

Also, I reckon Ad Utd womens might be delayed this year. Didn't exaclty set the world on fire.

what players are you exactly talking about billy the kid?
Who are the leaders who have left the premier league? I heard Lia A. is not playing for City anymore, but then I also heard she's playing for another club...Are you referring to her?

Many ppl are unhappy with some of the changes and many ressies actually left the game instead of going to other clubs.
A. United is not what makes a strong premier league IMO and heaps of ppl were unhappy with it too!

I heard of some 'big players' not playing (a couple only actually  ) but there are also many 'new ones' coming up. SASI team very young. Theres new state coaches and that.

A. city clubrooms have nothng to do with this IMO, they prob. cost a lot of money. Dont think that is related to players leaving the game and clubs folding!

well what sort of proffesionalism does it give when you have to change under a tree? this saga about there clubrooms has been going on for about 10 years, and im sure players have left for this reason

I think the feeling about the state of the game and its STAKEHOLDERS ie the CLUBS is probably fact.

I think that things have gone bad for far too long, good people have left the clubs (after banging their heads against the establishment) and the glory days have passed us by.

I still think that having no reserves is still one of the biggest mistakes

the amount of clubs still looking for players is a very good indicator that numbers are down on last yr.

Its a glass half full half empty situation here...Unfortunately from my perspective, its a BAD sign that clubs are looking for players at this time of the year.
