I think it won't be long before some of the teams start to fold.

a disintersted sasi 5-0 a much much weaker metro

metro looked too slow and didnt make passes stick. sasi didnt looked like they had to try but scored some good goals, with the exception of a dodgey penalty decision which was initially well saved, and scored from on the rebound.

Well they didn't have Ebony (and I dont think she played for SASI either last night), dont know if they had anyone else missing? Pretty close to a full squad I would think, but I could be wrong as I'm not associated with Metro.
Don't under estimate Metro, their main problem seemed to be fitness - started reasonably but fell away quickly and started to lose shape as SASI started to apply a bit of pressure and easily opened them up. Donna still looked pretty fast and sharp up front for them though.
(ps - Leppa's initial penalty save was a very good effort)

They had nearly a full team last night. Still slow and unfit.
But MOST DEFINITELY don't underestimate Metro. They are the best team in the PL by far this season.

I never wrote that! Some one needs to stop messing up the quotes!
I'm predicting a very close and competitive PL this year, I wouldn't really like to predict who is likely to win until we are quite a few weeks into the season. Anybody predicting results from trial game scorelines is fooling themselves - trial games are just that, an opportunity to 'tinker' with team setup etc without losing points in a competition.

Any other results?
Interesting result the Olympic vs Metro one, what happened there?

And what about the other games? Good soccer or or low standard? The season is nearly there, you'd expect the prem clubs to be nearly ready now.
Well done to Olympic, I agree, they will cause more than one upset.

Victorian team was Sandringham. They finished runners up to Olympic in the FFSA challenge. Metro seemed to have a lot of talent on the pitch, but team hasn't gelled yet. When it does, look out. Sandringham's U15's dominated over 6 SA U15 teams. A good pre-season tournament. Well done Olympic for running it- looking to expand participation next year. Mark your calendars.

Surrrrprise that sasi won!!!!

Some coaches know how to play the game and results go the way of the winning team....

Could have predicted that a while ago. Why? Coz I saw the fall out when it didn't go the "way scripted".
