Farmer Joe wrote:Eric VanRyswyck was in devastating form for the West yesterday. I'm predicting he will be having a very big year in 09. Good to see Howarth back out for them too, he will definitely add to an already strong defence.

I saw enough from the East to suggest that they will be very competitve in div 2. East Boy looked solid as did a young blonde lad that they've picked up from Modbury.

I think the score was 5-2 to the West in the end.

What wa the final score in the final? Parafield were up one nil when I left at half time. Haywood was looking fit (have you lost a few mate?).

Speaking of weight- there were two player coaches yesterday who need to lay off the pies.
Good to hear the Lance Armstrong inspired Horvat is back in the first team fray

If Lance can come back after a few years of retirement then maybe I can do it, we'll just see if the body holds up and if needed I'll be ready for a kick.
