Very funny Hawksey. But if he was would we have this ad on here???

By the way my Aussie mate saw your pic in profile and commented and i quote his words "" the way an aussie should greet an englishmen is with a ball and chain the same way they came here""

Bit racist for my liking but thats him straight up. he is to lazy to open up an account on here. If you wanna have a go at him feel free to do it through mine.

Hawksey this guy is as aussie as you could possibbly get. He is rather touchy.

Anyway chat soon.

Pity he's not playing, he was always fun to wind up. :D

that makes no sense though, it was the "australians" that we sent over here. Surely, it should be the way every Englishman should greet and aussie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxlMnnyZ ... re=related

The English sent the English to australia, these people then became australians. It's pretty simple really, even for someone of convict stock.

It was you who told me to have a go at him via you. I did exactly that! Look at the big picture, it's keeping your request for players up the top of the page.

With all due respect RBE,

This is my point about new clubs entering the competition.

We have enough established clubs in our competition, & we dont need any more,

Most new clubs dont have the club structure, supporter base, & man power ect. to sustain more than a few years in the league, they also have the problem of retaining & drawing new players witch is why they just dissappear....

RBE sorry mate but this is my veiw, your club is in the SAASL & I wish your club all the best now & into the future.
I hope your club is one of the rare new survivors...

How long did it take them to become Australian, given that they were all born in England and had English parents and probably grand parents...

I see your point, but RBE are settling in fine and will not give up. Give us a few years and we will be nice and setteld the structure is fine at our club but always need few more players. and will all due respect your club has been around for years !!!! its time for a change and new clubs are going to do so... We strive just to be like your club and exsist for many years, and with the support we are getting i think we can sustain a lot more than just a few years.

Like I said RBE i hope your club is one of the rare survivors & wish it every success...

What if the SAASL let in another 10 more new clubs join this season,
that would certainly affect every club in the league including yours, because the player pool would certainly be less & quality would suffer. At some point in time they need to ceiling number of clubs I believe.

You make so much sense, you should be in politics. Hey "new clubs", why don't we all fold, maybe we can go down and play at parafield gardens, help them out.

There is background to the club, the red blue eagles are supporter group from italy, but as we did not want to have a name with racial backing we changed it to Adelaide red blue eagles named after a supporter group.. We are open to any race and did not want to be branded as an "Italian Team"! dont you think its better that way?

are you blokes stupid ?

all I'm saying is that the league should limit the amout of new clubs they let in each year, that's all!!!

good luck to all the new clubs involved in the league now!

I hope you all survive & become successfull clubs...

more clubs they let in less players, & player quality= weaker competition.

may-be then the newer clubs wont struggle getting players

I do understand that but it's crazy when some clubs are struggling to get new players & the League is still letting new clubs join with no restrictions...

Why not strengthen the league for a year or so, that all Im trying to say.
