School Sports Australia Football Championship, Mandurah, Western Australia, 1 – 7 August 2009

Girls this is your opportunity to be involved in the South Australian team to compete at the School Sports Australia Football Championship. So if you are playing football at a high level, and attending school then we would like to see you.

Trials begin on the 8th of March and continue on the 15 and 22 respectively.

All girls must currently be enrolled at a South Australian school to be eligible.

The coach will be Leanne Trimboli. Leanne has represented Australia at senior level, as well as being a past player in this very championship. Other past players who have played in this tournament and gone on to represent Australia have been, Cheryl Salisbury, Kristyn Swaffer, Sharon Black, Lisa DeVanna, Sally Shiphard, Brigette Starr…..and many more.

Girls who qualify for the team have the opportunity to be selected in the Australian Schools Football Tour, which in the past two years has toured Japan/ China and the United Kingdom.

We look forward to seeing as many girls as possible.

Please feel free to email me at smullord@xavier.catholic.edu.au with any questions or queries.

Yours in Sport

Stuart Mullord
Team Manager
