1st FFSA women's premier league

Post by Easy Tiger »

When will it start? Is the exact date known yet?
And what are the interesting movements so far? I heard Metro are hot favs this year! They just about cleaned up all available players!
And...will the Adelaide United players playing with the clubs until the end of the league?
This will be an interesting season IMO

I heard 29th of March for the season kick off. Too hard to tell what teams will "clean up". Big names dont always produce results so I think we'll just have to wait and see

Metro with so many new players...when things go wrong it will be interesting to see what happens.

Fulham and Cumby been pretty quiet so far, havent heard much bout either.

Cumby have lost a few players to Metro and SASI but there's a lot of quality coming through. Fulham lost a couple of guns too but are still a very strong side IMO. Not sure if Metro will beat them easy  But Metro has to be hot fav with all the players they have. Metro's 1pm team will also be absolutely unstoppable I reckon! :D

C'town will be a tough one this year with many young good ones

Surely Gubs will keep playing IMO  Is she quitting football altogether?
Who's left at Fulham?
Bus seriously, they've lost a couple of good ones Rachael being at SASI and all...

Surely if Metro have all these players and they are committed and play as a team they will be the team to beat. Rock solid defence and a lot of strength all over. No one else can match them on papers IMO.

Unsure if Sturt this year can repeat last year's great season, depends on how the old guns will perform.

And the others...if Metro does what they should there's no point mentioning anyone else.

But then again...the ball is round.

geelong had the best team all year last year and they got beat when it came to the crunch - so it isnt always about who has the "names" its about a team - and no matter how many "names" you have in one team if you dont play as a team you wont win sh!t!!
