SASI ruling

Post by slazenger »

Will the SASI ruling still be in place next year?
In my opinion, it is not of much benefit to have multiple SASI players at one club due to the age and inexperience of some, if not most, of the current, and new SASI players being brought in. However, having W-League players is much more beneficial, does this mean that there will be a rule regarding how many W-League players per club?

I doubt anybody at FFSA has really thought about it! (I could be wrong though..)
If they are going to make a change in the rules it should be done now when the new rules for the 2009 comp are released so that everyone knows where they stand.
Suppose we will just have to wait and see, but I doubt anything will change re SASI rules.

What if the next W-league season starts in August.....And the FFSA Womens leagues are still competing in that time. Does that mean the players who played in the W-league this season wont play club next yr? And even the potential players? I dunno, just throwing another spanner in the works. ha ha.

If the next W League season starts in August then they will probably start trials/training in May/June? The club league starts in April right? That means that W League players only really have 2 months for their clubs, then they are off to United. Are they going to be allowed to play for clubs?

It would be great to see United players in the league, but also not having them means more room for young players I guess.
