Post by BillShankly »

Due to an overwhelming response the Western District Toros will be holding a third trial on Sunday 9th.

Under 9's, 11s, 13s and 15s will trial from 12:00 to 1:00
Under 17s, Div 3 and Div 1 will trial from 1:30 to 2:30.

All interested players are encouraged to attend this additional trial.

Players who are looking to play Div 1 at a competitive club, who also has a fantastic culture and promising young players are encouraged to come out this Sunday to register their interest.

The club will also be having a preseason trip to Melbourne, from Jan 16th to 18th.

If a club has had an overwhelming response to the previous trials, why would you be holding another trial, just doesn't make sense, they have 7 teams to fill they've had an overwhelming response so they must have enough players, so why would they hold a third why would they cut players??

No players will be cut, it allows an opportunity for players who havent had the opportunity to make the first two trials to come and attend the last trial.

Western District Toros is a fantastic club and set up, im really impressed by the professionalism of how it is all run. After meeting the coaches and having explained to me i was really happy that we had taken our time in choosing a club.

I had taken my daughters out to North West Jags trials and it was terrible, i read on here how people are treated as individuals and not objects but it is totally the opposite!!!!!!!!!!! I spose they are trying to suck everyone in. They are a disorganised rabble and the coaching is very very basic with to many mistakes and that was during trials, imagine what i would be during the season!!!!!

I went out to fulham as well and thought they were good, they were trying to make up to many teams though and the coaches had obvious favourites which was disappointing.
