Coaches next year

Post by Easy Tiger »

Does anybody already know who will coach in the prem clubs next year??

If you listen to people they all tell you that this coach is bad, that one is bad, that one is worse...Seems like everybody out there is bad! Everyone just rubbish the coaches and the other clubs. They wanted the Metro coaches head and then they won the cup...They all talk bad about McCormack but he's the sasi coach....Is there any good coach in the girls prems or are all the good ones coaching boys??

I found out that state coaches don't mean much...can be state coach and still not be very good with the players!

Where are the good coaches in the girls??? Is that why Adelaide United hired a men's coach for the girls too?

I agree Torzz. We've lsot too many good coaches over the years.

All crap aside, these people get paid bugger all and put in an enormous amount of time and when the players don't reciprocate, it gets disheartening.

From what I have heard and seen over the years, coaching women is not as easy as the men/boys/kids. And thats why some coaches have pulled up stumps and gone.

Lets hope they get the support they need to stay on.

I hope they keep the same coach too, in the end they won the cup even if in the league they didn't do much. Keeping a coach also gives the girls some stability I reckon.

Last time you asked this question was in August

and it sounded like you were asking if he had already gone - which he had not, and still has not.

There has been no announcement made about who will be Cumby senior or junior coaches for next year - so I cant tell you what I dont know, even if it is a common practice for some 'forumites' to do that. Cumby haven't even finished their season yet - still got to play this afternoon.
Like most clubs they are going through a 'process' to decide coaches for next season at the moment - when they have completed that then everyone will be advised in due course.

There was a great coach at para hills knights with the reserves from mid-season 2006 to end of 2007, however due to health reasons he needed to retire. If you looked at the results from when reserves started in that league (e.g losing 17-0) to their results last year when they were drew with teams and were very competitive with higher teams, we also need to consider the fact that many of these girls were rather new in the sport as well. He started coaching boys in the beginning. I know for a fact many of the knights girls wish he could have continued as their coach. It is very unfortunate that they could not keep the ball rolling (no pun intended).

Yeah I've heard Para Hills coaches were good too. I wonder next year if some reserve coaches will actually coach in div 2 or div 1...that will be interesting...they may even bring some players with them if they move club :o
Does anyone know what reserve coaches will do next year?
