Your line-ups v Sth Africa

Post by paddy15 »

just wanted to get your line-ups for the South Africa clash, bearing in mind the new changes to the squad.
Mine would be:
Schwarzer
Neill Coyne Spiranovic Chipperfield
Garcia Grella Culina Bresciano
Kennedy McDonald

I do accept that Garcia is unlikely to start, more than likely it will be Wilkshire proving that width. but with grella and culina industrious in the middle, it would be great to have some creativity on the flanks.
thoughts?

I really think milligan will get some significant game time. We need him to find a club quickly, for the good of Australian football. I think his stocks went down by playing in midfield in the Olympics (thanks GA).

My line up
Schwarzer
Neill Milligan Spiranovic Carney
Grella
Culina, Carle, Bresciano
McDonald, Kennedy

yeah, carle is in and is probably more of a chance to play instead of garcia from what i've read. i hear you RE: milligan, but i hope coyne gets a go TBH. he's plugged away in league 1 and the championship for years and deserves a crack. milligan and spiranovic in central defence would be way too inexperienced for mine.

yeah fair point. I guess one of the two if not both will miss out. Only problem is without emerton, who plays RB? or RWB maybe? I guess Wilkshire could maybe.
Maybe they'll play 3-5-2. With Neill central with one of the two youngsters, wilkshire & carney/chipperfield as wing backs
Possibly they put Coyne in with one of the youngsters probably spira, and still play 4-4-2.
