Stevie Nicks - Landslide
My boys dug out a DVD called Jack Frost, not to be confused with another Jack Frost movie.
In the more child friendly version, this Stevie Nicks song is playing as the boy whose father has died constructs a snowman.
I'm not a big Stevie Nicks fan but it is a nice melancholic song.

Echo And The Bunnymen did the Seven Seas. Kissing tortoise shells... what was that all about?

Speaking of Dire Straits and filmclips, every time i'm at my favourite pool hall, i always select Dire Straits' Sultans of Swing (Live version) on the video-jukebox. Impromptu extended solo's that go for 2-3 minutes between certain verses, the song plays for about 10 minutes! You get Get great value for money from it.

Speakig of long versions, I like the All Night version of Echo And The Bunnymen's The Killing Moon. It goes for nine mintes and there's a guitar section in the middle which is you lie your head evenly between the speakers or listen to it through a good set of head phones it reverbarates alternately from right to left... always leaves me mesmorized !

i love songs like that.

The White Stripes - Take Take Take is a great song as is, but you listen to it through headphones it adds a whole new dimension to it due to the left/right split.

I'm deaf in one ear and if you listen to early Beatles "stereo" albums, you either hear the backing track with very feint reverb vocals or just the vocals !
I have to re-wire headphones so that everything comes out of both earphones (mono ! ).

so i guess movies and new HD/Digital Television that comes out in surround sound 5.1 means nothing to you.

It's more like 2.5 point 0.5 :D

I can get surround sound for half the price.

Found this on youtube today. It came out in about 1990. I remember trying to sing it in a karaoke bar once but even one as tone deaf as me knew I sounded bloody awful. Lyrics are simple but notes are difficult. Enjoy...
