SASI vs Gawler U15s

Post by Unretired »

SASI game this week is on

Saturday 17th of May

K/O 11am

At Gawler Home ground

Karbeethan Reserve
Angle Vale Rd
Evanston Gardens.

Should be a good game this week. Gawler seem to be a good side and are undefeated so far.

Why? Many clubs don't have lights good enough to play under. When should they play it Einstien, Sunday like every other week, oh! hang on the girls cant play on Sundays. Perhaps they could play it down at SANTOS on a Wednesday night give the girls home ground advantage, no! not allowed to do that either, can't afford the lights. I know! Gawler should just Forfeit, honestly not having lights- shite club anyway kick em out of state league too!! Let our club in instead

your right i dont care.

when you go away and play a game a day for a week straight then you know what its like.

its becoming a professional footballer and if your not ready for it and complaining then why play the sport?

Well said deigo, the girls have to learn to adjust to playing more than one game a week, otherwise their bodies won't cope when they are in that situation

kyan_timberelli put forward the notion of 'wouldn't the guys have a game the next day', as if to insinuate that would be a problem.

Is kyan_timberelli even associated with SASI because they are the only ones that seem to have an issue with it? Wow! 2 games in 2 days. Girls better have a week off afterwards. Might need it.

Nobody. They just seemed to be the only one the had a problem with it so if they werent associated with SASI what does it matter to them?

I think it all started because I made a tongue in cheek comment about special treatment going out the window - my point was meant to show that there isn't any special treatment being shown to the girls because most of them will play 2 days in a row. It wasn't a complaint of any sort, more of a rev up with all the "blown out of proportion" carry on going on in every SASI topic on here

Once again everyone just got WAY too serious from then on :D

Was there for a E&D game and stayed on to watch the women as Ive had a lot to say about SASI
I thought the lads from Gawler did a pretty good job today being down a couple of players and were unlucky to concede the goal late. Their keeper had a fair game today and some tight marking in defense. Hows the player who was helped off , is she ok?

Under 15As -- too high if thats all they have to offer, plenty of ball skill mind you , under 15bs would be about right.
They have drawn games with two clubs in the table (Gawler and Croydon) and narrow win against N.demons. I would think those three teams would be fighting for promotion.

Was that the normal team or was there a lot missing?
I haven't and won't change my mind on the use of adult players in junior comps but thats not up to the players is it!, good luck for the rest of the season ladies.

The girl that came off will be fine just jarred her knee landing on it wrong.

Sasi had a couple of the girls out due to injury, So this was not there full strength side.

Gawler were very competative and I will enjoy watching their next game hopefully when both sides have their full team.
