Of course he didn't get involved in some german bloke nailing his comments to a church door, It was all about his divorce and his marriage to Anne Boleyn. Hence the comment in bold. I think that either you or that magazine are wrong then.

The reason I say that is because the UEFA league ranking decides how many teams a league gets to enter into the champions league. England entered 4 and france only 3, so by default the league ranking must have been higher for England than france.

Incidentally, next years has 1 spain, 2 England, 3 italy, 4 france
