wouldn't you if it happned to poo?? always easy to talk from the winners circle. Especially considering Hleb's was more of a penalty than that.tobes wrote:i can't wait to hear wenger talk about the penalty
We would've been through with 3-2 at the time as well.

should've had a pen in the first leg, then concede a joke of a penalty in the 2nd to knock themselves out!![]()
spewing, that's a shiraz UNDERstatement!!!!!
WHO EVER SAYS THEY BELIEVE IN KARMA, CAN SUCK A BIG FAT grenache!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cause that was absolute Barossa Pearl!!!!!!!!!!! Hleb's was 5 times the penalty than that yet ours doesn't get given. Typical shiraz Barossa Pearl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
shiraz grenache ref, can get shiraz.
It's funny how a stupid bit of referring won the game for liverpoo, yet had we taken it 2-2 it would've been Theo Walcott's magic that could've/should've taken us through.
Amazing pace and skill to take it from 20 yards outside own box to then put it on adebayor's foot for a tap in was top draw.
think about it. the 2nd and 3rd goal was ludicris defending!! how senderos can give torres that much space in the box is beyond me.

yeah, what a finish from nando, freak of a boy! but in defence of senderos, torres hardly touched it and turned before he had hit the fuckin thing

that's true, we kept him quiet, but surely you wouldn't give a cunt with that much finishing quality time and space like that. it's ridiculous.tobes wrote:drawER!Rigoni 10 wrote:tobes wrote:all over!

i'll say this, i don't care what anyone says, we fucken fought hard, with a bit MORE luck we could've scrapped through. We didn't, nothing we can do about it now, so well done to Liverpoo, one of the greatest games in UCL history.

Re: Liverpool vs Arsenal
yup, was a fucking cracker of a game
was shitting my pants the first 30 mins when we were gettin absolutely hammered, but a wee 2 step from sami to give phillipe the flick and a wonderful header and we were back in it.
looking back at it all again, it was a ridiculous win
a 10, a fuckin 10! still got wood!

actually, i can't really say i was in your position as you were stitched twice with penalty calls, so you might be slightly more pissed than i wasRigoni 10 wrote:good to see you understand.tobes wrote: i do feel much compassion for you lot though as i was in your position in the 84th minute

was it just me or after they finished showing the replays of Walcott's fantastic run and the goal, did the ball just drop to the feet of babel and the ref gave a ridiculous penalty against us???
cause it all seemed to flash right past me

i was too busy beating the fuck out of anything within a 1m radius of me to notice anything. i don't know how the ball got to babel but i just saw him go down and appealed, i thought yep, definite pen from what i saw, but that just goes to show how much i saw!Rigoni 10 wrote:tobes wrote:Rigoni 10 wrote: actually, i can't really say i was in your position as you were stitched twice with penalty calls, so you might be slightly more pissed than i was![]()

Your statement is spot on, we had the rub of the green, 2 even teams, 2 even games. Credit to Arsenal for the energy they found early on, they looked dead on Saturday and I didn't think they had it in them. I think they are finished for this season now though, they looked shattered at the end and going to Man UTD will be tough.
