Florina are a good squad. as uncle cracker has stated having that many injuries in a side is not good and is always going to put pressure on to get the results u need. however they do have depth and it has shown that they can at least survive for this year and then rebuild a competitive squad to challenge for the title next year. the main thing is avoiding relegation. as long as they do this they will be fine. also uncle cracker are you going to try and get any new blood down there next year or keep the same squad. if so who are you looking at?

As you said BB, Florina have had terrible run with injuries this season. 7 first teams regulars missing lastweek against the downs doesnt help but hopefully afew will return this weekend and the others in the next 2-3 weeks. Every club has them and like every other club we have to deal with it. Hopefully our bad luck with injuries has ended and we can have a good finish to the season.

As for next season BB, will concentrate on that at the end of this season
and like all other clubs we are always looking for new blood to improve
our squad weather thats for the A's, B's or C's. After taking so long to get
promoted to Div1 we would like to be there for a while.

Everyone's being a bit harsh on Florina. It is their first year back in Div 1 and they've had quite a few injuries.

Good look for the rest of the season Uncle Cracker, and say hi to Prez for me.

yeah Ease up on Florina, Not many clubs could get promoted from 2nd div and win the 1st div straight away! Oh Maybe the Maso's could !!!! Undefeated too!! :P

I heard they have approached a few guys re taking over as coach...... who is coach there now? seems bit harsh trying for someone new if they are staying up, surely that would have been the goal for this season...

abit rough thinking or talking about replacing the coach after he had a stella season last year, and had a rough trot with injuries this year.not many clubs have the depth to repace 6-7 first team players in any league, and if they have the ones not getting a run in the a's tend to leave to clubs that give them an a-team spot.that's what i rekon anyhow.so there.poo poo bums heads.

I watched Downs vs Florina today and judging by the players Florina fielded their coach has done a good job managing to keep them up. He also got them into the 1st div, something I don't think any other coach has done with Florina.
I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

No. He didn't feature the year maco's won it. Brian Sneddon won it that year. onthepissagain won it when he was with the downs and tied with David Eggers from Westies.

Wrong again, onthepissagain won it (tied with D. Eggers) when he was with Inter not the Downs.

Its funny that you mention Steve McGregor and Eggers on the same forum. I bet Eggers is still screaming like a little girl just at the thought of Mcgregor coming near him.
