A's Result
University Black 1- Adelaide SC 7
B's Result
University Black 1 - Adelaide SC 2
After speaking to one of the Uni players after the
game, it was evident that they were well and truly
brought back to earth with a big thump after thinking
that their big win the previous Saturday against Southern
Breakers coupled with Adelaide's poor showing against
Flinders University, would keep them in good stead and
which led to many of their players boasting on their own
forum that they would beat Adelaide SC. I guess the result
tells a different story and also the wide gap in class between
the respective clubs.
Scorers for Adelaide SC: Angelo Antonis 5 and Simon Jurassic 2
Good luck to all teams this season.

Both A's and B's
In the B's we probably suffered a bit from not having a keeper and not turning posesion into chances. Referee was great, good game and hopefully our keeper is back for the next one
In the A's the better team won, however at 1-1, 3 very dodgy offsides against us and a very mouthy linesman (not to mention the coach hurling abuse at everyone ??????? But they were a good side no doubt

Scouty, Its called Asteras.
B's should have won, disallowed goal my backside!!! Asteras scored a clear goal in first half and the referee disallowed it for hand ball when it actually hit his stomach and went into the goal!!!
Scouty do you play for Northern United?
In the A's we were out beaten by a much fitter team, with only one match under our belt, and a 3 key players not registered yet and unavailable, we just were no match for the fitter Northern United. im buggered for the amount of running i did in the first half.
how about the guys on the sideline, i dont think they were associated to your club, how funny were they, i think Northern United players were more embarrased then us, i was on there side the first half and even though im good at blocking out people on the sidelines, jeepers the dribble from their mouths wasnt good to hear (farken w ogs this farken w ogs that) all game, i mean i was all good im used to it, but as your clubs point of view those types of comments can lead to big arguements on the field like the number 8 said from your team to me. esp as your club has some italians in it and a greek in the club, and there racist insults were flying all game lol, but im not too fussed with it as long as it doesnt lead to on the field getting out of control. you got to admit scouty those comment from the sidelines is what we dont need in our game.
Good referee though i thought, even though he was young like 20, at least he keeps up with the play, unlike other amatuer referees! lucky some federation referees do the games!

i didnt say anything bad about the disallowed goals MC? both our teams had goals disallowed (that shouldnt have been) so it balanced out
if you were playing A's then the guys on the sideline (middle of the pitch), are all wog themselves, they were paying out our own players actually lol (i was in the middle of the pitch myself - didnt say anything though - i think many people to the right of us were just some random spectators if thats who youre talking about)
what did number 8 look like? or what position did he play? we have played with different numbers every week so i dont know who u mean
the offsides were so terrible i couldnt believe it. Don't people understand the passive offside rule?!?!?!

i thought you knew what i look like scouty, i was the youngest one in the Asteras team, number 14 i think i was, i was on the left wing,
