Nugget it was Matty Andrews not Matt Blackwood, Well done to Redmond. I was Mc for the night so here goes the memory is a bit fuzzy. I reckon big Azza got bf for the reserves. We only do a club golden boot for the whole club not individual and Swanny won that. The Mighty Motts was made a life member. Motts pledged his undying love for the club and said he will coach there for the next 60 years. Been at the club since a baby, 5th year going on 6 maybe as first team coach and I reckon both his parents are life members as well so it was a ripper night and as I said I was Mc and thats about all I can remember.. The lads told me though I was excellent as per usual.. And Steedy nice shirt...

it is slowly coming back to me I hear Downslow was roof sitting with a chair on top of the roof that is at ad,s and done a bit of damage so my source tells me (god bless mary) must of been watching the sunset. Best entrance of the night to Downslow.. There was a team shirt and a medal left there as well steedy that is now in leggas shed - only joking.
I reckon josty got the C,s bf.... Gotta love the way Marooned was dancing to all the hot chocolate songs     8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Congrats to young Redmond and Mr Hall. Thoroughly deserved winners. Also congrats to Big Azza and Pugz from the ressies and anyone else who won awards.

Also thanks to the young lady who decided to run into the club room at full throtle only to take two steps in and have her tits bounce out. Great view.

And Legga would have to be one of the funniest men going round. Absolutely fantastic M.C The comment to kliney about Pumpkin Patch was top notch.

Very humble of you buddy. Anyway i think youre wasted at an amateur club. You are still a spring chicken and should be testing the waters at a super league club not testing the beer at an amateur club, as good as the downs may be you could always go back. im sure every member at the club would push you to go.

Gotta be somthing in there big man. Three runners up in a row. Unheard of. Has to be the best worst player going round. Or is that the worst best player going round. either way i smell a rat. lmfao. Nah thoroughly deserved. Cant remember the last time his man beat him. Well done Luke Hall.

Well done Red! Congrats. I think Matt Blackwood has been underated by the League and the Downs (not on purpose) he was a standout in both games against us this year, but different people see the game differently and Red was definetley ROCK SOLID in defence.

Without slurring or opening a can of worms, does anyone else think its strange that Bert Fuda won the B&F for the league (for the 4th time) but not his clubs B&F as I said different people see the games differently. And out of interest the 4 times Bert has won the award has he won his clubs B&F?

cheers didn't think i deserved it had 9 other players in fornt of me made my job easier and when u got the 2 best defenders playin with me its good
regardin bert i think he won it 3 times when won the league B&F. not 100% sure but he again had a brilliant yr never puts a foot wrong for our team.

Club awards are usually picked by ~3 or more of the teams supporters/coaches who know most, if not all, of the players in their team.
SAASL awards are chosen by the referee who does the game. Bert is a high profile player in the Amateur League and the referees can associate what he does with his name, whereas lesser known players might not have their efforts associated with their particular names.

Well done Matty, Les would be so proud of you!
