Amadeo Cataldi is proud to announce he will be running his very first 6-week Italian Football Academy Program from the 5th of November until mid-December 2007.

Well known in Junior Football circles for his dedication, passion and knowledge, Amadeo will be starting the Academy on his return from Sydney after having been invited to coach for the
AC Milan Academy, the only South Australian based coach to ever be offered such a position.

The Academy program will consist of 15 sessions of the duration of 90 minutes over the course of 6 weeks and will comprise of 3 Sunday mornings and a choice between different sessions during the week, all to be run after school hours starting at 4.15 and 6.00 pm.....

...all for the price of only A$200!!!!

Players will be placed in age and experience-appropriate groups and will be developed in 'individual technique' and 'game-sense', following in the tradition of the Italian Football School of Excellence.

$200 is quite steep, unless there is some sort of uniform and ball supplied to keep.

and sorry buddy but i know the junior circuit pretty well and havent heard of you until i read your name in the zone champs booklet.

a couple of years ago i had my sons training for free with Phil Scardigno, Mike Barnett and Jim Karabatsos, three highly accredited and well known coaches who have coaches either the Senior state team or super league clubs... im not expecting to get things for free, your course is basically averaged out to $13 per player for 90mins, which is quite high to other acadamies fees, i would pay around $5 a session, which is what i have paid for private coaching before.

club fees are around $400 for around 35 weeks of the year for around say 5 hours a week, say take away $100 for uniform, that works out to $1.70 an hour.

If you were say Barnett or Heirn, or Mundy, or Maricic or Maynard for example then i would pay the $200.

sorry buddy not trying to put you down, just trying to let you know just incase you dont attract high numbers.

Thank you for your post, your feedback is useful and valuable.

The number of registered players has been very promising so far and it has been mostly from players Amadeo has coached in the past or friends of theirs.

Italian Football School is not looking to have an incredible number of players straight away but to slowly build from a reasonable starting point.

I had never heard of Amadeo until about 6-7 weeks ago either, but I would recommend him now that I have seen him coaching 'elite' junior players.

I have a daughter who was in the SASI Rising Stars program this year.
Amadeo took over this for the last 4-5 weeks, and I must say that the girls (and parents) were very pleased with Amadeo and his coaching.

Many girls are about to be selected for SAWSA dev squads, SASI Young Sensation and Rising Stars which run through Nov to Feb/March, but I would recommend Amadeo as a good alternative for those girls not in those programs, and for boys looking for some quality skills coaching.

He's 14 ATM so prob ok (didnt make it in jpl blind selector or cbf but he will play sunday amatuers ironic but such is life already offered a spot)
Daugther is 11 and plays in JPL she'll keep playing there as long as she can I guess she's the only one in the club apparently.

I can advise that from my experience, Amadeo is a gentleman and a fine football coach. The players will not only learn new football skills but also the finer points of attitude, temperament and manners.

The fees of $ 200 is very reasonable considering the standard of the coach involved.

hey amadeo, i heard alot of stories as to why you got sacked but i want to hear it from you. what was the reason?

I believe the President of the Club never disclosed the reasons for sacking Amadeo publicly, but there were at least a couple of reasons from the Club's point of view.

I also believe Amadeo had at least a couple of reasons for not wanting to be involved any longer with the club at that stage.

This is not the topic for it and Amadeo perceives you are attempting a case of 'character assassination'.

If and when you disclose your name via Private Message, it may be considered to give you more details....until that point, this is a topic to promote an Academy Program.
