Uhhh.... maybe because Adelaide City are topping the Under 13A league at the moment Hollygirl?

Are you stupid or is there something I am missing here?

Well you did not do much research...while Adelaide City are sitting top Cumberland have not played all of their catch up games yet....based on their results they are the two top sides in the competition...once we establish they are the same on points (in terms of games played) then you look at how they match up against each other......in their only meeting this season Cumberland defeated Adelaide City 2 - 0.....I have seen both teams on a number of occasions this season and based on all of those things I would not be backing Adelaide City....I am not stupid....have just done more research and happen to know this division quite well as my son plays under 13's for another club...

Frankly, I couldn't care how much research you have done or haven't done. The man made a prediction, and you rubbish it with no basis whatsoever except the fact that Cumberland happened to beat Ad City 2-0 this season. One result between two clubs is not exactly going to be a fantastic measuring stick for a cup final. Especially where Ad City are involved.

You are going to look quite stupid if Adelaide City win. All the man did was make a prediction and you rubbished it. Poor form.

I did not rubbish it...look again....I asked on what basis???? You are the one with poor form calling me stupid for having a different opinion...Adelaide City are clearly the best overall club in the comp but in Under 13's the comp is very even and given the only result between the two teams is Cumberland winning, I wanted to know what the basis for picking Adelaide City was. eg. do they drop players down for cup games etc....it is a forum and the appropriate basis to have these discussions without resorting to calling people stupid.

the ffsa is doing a great job this year, donating the gate proceeds to charity for the cup finals, just shows you that despite all the negatives they are doing some great things for the local game, not trying to make a profit form the event,

i know when i go and watch i will stick a $5 note because i know that it is going towards a good charity.

hopefully more people will give generiously while also watching future talent gracing the hindmarsh holy turf

Don't know why the 16s game wasn't played later on. I'm expecting it to be one of the best matches of the day. after viewing previous games between ABE and City this match should be a ripper.

ABE 3-2 CITY (16s)

They do that because they put the team that have more than one team in it after each other so they can watch all the games of your club.

Only way to do that would be to finish with either U15 or Under 14 and play U17 in middle.
I think their preference is to finish the day with the U17 final

So what your really saying is that the president of Adelaide City didn't want to have to drive back to Hindmarsh in the afternoon.

I went to the JPL Cup-Finals last year and i think the FFSA made it walk in for free but gold coin donation (Optional) like this year.. not 100% sure though.

Exactly right penalty5, when the original fixtures came out, AC did not have all the games grouped together but now they are!!!

The game that will probably be the closest contest, (going by previous results and ladder positioning) is being played at lunch time. Its ridiculous, the federation or whoever made the times has stuffed up badly. as this game should be played in the afternoon, between 15 and 17s.

The 16s game will be close. very disapointing at the time its being played.
