Bresciano joins Man City

Australia midfielder Mark Bresciano has joined Manchester City from Serie A team Palermo for about $6 million.

Bresciano, who spent eight seasons in Italy playing for Empoli, Parma and Palermo, agreed on a four-year contract and trained with his new teammates yesterday, the newspaper said. He would be the fifth offseason addition to City's midfield.

``I needed this move to freshen me up,'' the Herald cited Bresciano, 27, as saying. ``I needed a new challenge and I wanted to get the excitement factor back into my game.''

A big coup for Man City if that is true!!

Isnt their a problem cause Palermo and Man City cant agree on terms when to complete transfer by,think Palermo wants by 31 Aug and Man City said September sometime.

thats what i heard to palermo want the money by 31 of august but man city want to pay it in september
