Toros Have The Best Defender In The League By Far Number 13 And There CM's Dominate Week In Week Out Also They Have Great Striking Force But After Sunday Its Going Too Be Hard For Toros. 2 Key PLayers Suspended And A Very Tired Team ABE Better Make The Most Of This Week.

ok now that i got that off my chest...
ABE VS TOROS

Abe started off a little slow and so toros gotta quick goal...
it was 1-0 in first few minutes but rest of match ABE dominated.

excellent defending the rest of match by ABE and then second half it was shots galore.

ABE hit crossbar twice, missed 1 on 1 wid keeper...
then it was friggin a miracle and ABE scored in dying moments...

after 20 seconds of celebrating...OFFSIDE?

it was a long free kick and it took deflection off toros defender, then toros keeper and ABE striker finished it off... wats wrong with dat!?

a hurrendous decision by referee!

ABE 0 - 1 TOROS

I think you will find that if the striker was offside when the ball was kicked then he was no longer passive offside if the only other touches were deflections off the two defenders (same situation as if the ball had bounced off the post and rebounded to a player offside when the ball was kicked). Would not be offside in a situation where the defender controlled the ball and passed back to the keeper, for example. Wasn't there, but from your description sounds like a correct decision.

You didn't say he was onside either in your rant. Your assumption was that there could not be an offside if a defender had touched the ball... "wats wrong with dat!?". He clearly was off according to the ref or the assistant (I assume a parent), so there you go! I feel your pain, though, 'cause it looks like a possibly sus decision has put ABE out of the running for 15Bs top two.

i wouldnt exactly count ABE out of the top two...

ABE have many relatively easy games then next couple of weeks

.... ur referee ari so dont complain u got 2 home games vs toros... use got every thing ur way first half ... so many calls offside against toros? that were nowhere near offside but ahh well its over now u lost bad luck dont complain about the ref bcoz ur club chose him ok

ummm how many tackles did toros make on ABE... then we ended up gettin all the cards, which may have been deserved but the ref was a bit leaniant wid u guys and really strict on us

the linesman for toros was not a parent either, he is a referee for super league so yeh.

ABE will need better wins than this, though, 'cause even if they catch Comets or Toros for second place on points (like THAT will happen

), their far inferior goal difference will let them down.

And thanks to juventus17 for pointing out that the linesman obviously knew the offside rule in the Toros v ABE game. Correct decision!

Toros 2-0 Striker

scorline does not really tell the match, toros had atleast 4-5 easy goal scoring oppertunities but their stikers were out good performance by the toros boys
