Barcelona offer Deco for Chelsea's Lampard

Barcelona are planning a Â£15 million bid for Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.
The Times says Barcelona are determined to take the England midfield player to the Nou Camp and will test Jose Mourinho's resolve with a Â£15 million bid. The Spanish giants see Lampard as a replacement for Deco.

They hope to finance the deal by offloading Deco to Inter Milan. However, there remains the intriguing possibility that Barcelona will offer Chelsea the Portugal midfield player in a swap-plus-cash deal.

first of all Fat Frank is shite

second of all, he cant play without Mourinho

and third of all, why do Barca need him when they have Iniesta, Xavi and now also Yaya Toure that can play in that position .. ten times better

yeh i agree....if chelski get Deco i think he would be a tremendous signing

Just shows what you guys know and think. You always bag him yet a team with arguably the best midfeild in the world want to pick him up.

i have to disagree, frank lampard cant play without mourinho coaching him, he has proved that for England, so unless Mourinho takes the job at Barca which wont happen, then i believe if this signing happens, its only going to benefit chelsea and not barca

I can see this happening

I think they Barca got the numbers back to front.......shouldn't that have read $51 million................even then they would get a bargin.

saying that FL can't play in a team with out Mourinho is equilivent to saying that RVN can't paly in a team without Sir Alec.............Only time will tell if the first statement is correct [sooner or later he is going to have to] because RVN proved the second one wrong.

Frank can't play for England because their coaching setup has been crap ever since McLoser has been involved.

Frank is a creative genius and midfield general and would do well for Barca.

spanish league would probably suit frank for more reasons than one...could play good football there and the humidity would help shred him some pounds...either way hes still a poor mans gerrard

Lampard done shiraz all when sven was coaching england, mcclaren is not the reason he just doesn't perfrom consistently enough at that level. As much as i hate him he is always in the right spot to score the 15 deflections he gets a year.

Watch Lampard live (not on the tv) and you will see just how good he is. His running off the ball is superb and second to none. Scores more goals for England and at club level that gerrard. PLUS, gerrard gets it easier because he's the only good player at the club.

If a coach like Mourinho rates him (a guy who knows more about football than all of us put together) then that's enough for me.

AND now another one of the top teams in the world also want to sign him.

Lampard is an absolute gun of a player and the stats and the trophies that Chelsea have won in last few years is due to alot of hard effort from him.Frank Lampard in his last 4 seasons since establishing himself after couple years before that with Chelsea by scoring 75+ goals and that you add all the assists he has played major part in and he pretty much controls the midfield and forwards attack,
it doesnt take too much to think that its not just Barca after him but other big name European clubs would want him in their line up aswell.

And the dickheads who always sledge him saying he is fat frank etc....im sure all of you are all fat asses who sit on your ass all day...Lampard is by far one of Chelsea's fittest stars.
Played 61 games last season and over 50 of them were full games!
