Fantasy football league
lads, ive started a league in a football fantasy competition called expert eleven and im looking for people to join the league.
Basically its like any afl or football dream team but its all fantasy, so no real players. The system gives you 18 players to start with and you have to coach them through the league, with options to buy different players and set up different tactics.
I can tell you once you get started you get hooked pretty quickly and you’ll find it hard to get off.
So if you interested log on to http://www.xperteleven.com and put in league code 111807. from there set your team name, home ground and shirt colors and the system will give you a team.
Im looking to start in 3 – 4 weeks so you got plenty of time to get it set up.
Hope to see you on there soon
Cheers

Woftam Utd Welcomes Kenny Benetiz
Dateline : June 28th, 2007, Haystack Rd Football Ground
Woftam Utd Chairman, Loius Rodrigez, today announced the the appointment of Kenny Benetiz as the new manager for season 2007/08. Benitez has signed a 2 year deal, reportably worth 4.5 million over the 2 seasons.
Woftam Utd fans welcome the recent appointment and see it as a new beginning after the recent scandals surrounding the Southern club. With the stories surrounding players revolts, betting addictions and the sex scandal between the ex-managers wife and former player(s) still reverberating around the old historic Hatstack Rd club, fans see the appointment of the old favourite Benetiz as a positive step.
Benetiz says " I am very happy to be appointed the new manager at Woftam. I look forward to working with the players and with the signing of the new club sponsor, look forward to the opening of the transfer window "
Old favourite Benetiz was refering to the news that Soundic Radio are the new club sponsors for the up coming season, in a deal reportably worth 250,000.
" I expect to be making several changes to the squad, with youth and development high on my aggenda" an exstatic Benitez was quoted as saying. Refusing to be drawn into last years scandals that nearly crippled the Southern club, Benetiz quipped at journalists when asked if he was qualified enough to take over his old team " A stupid question , from a stupid man, but as you know, I don't gamble, and Im not married so im sure that these problems are a thing of the past"
Benetiz played 353 games for the former giants from the southern region, scoring a club record of 267 goals. He spent 12 years at Woftam before being sidelined with the horrific injury that prematurely halted his career. He was of course referring to the tackle from Kevin Muscat ( former Australian international ) now serving 15 years in a Thai prison for child sexual abuse, that resulted in 3 plates being inserted into his right foot. " I try not to think of that day " Benetiz said " but am happy that he can no longer cause anyone any more harm. Besides i'm sure he gets alot of his favourite kind of action where he is now"
Leaving the journalists behind , Benetiz jumped into modest Ferrari F430, and headed straight to the training ground, where he was introduced to the remainder of the players and backroom staff not assembled at the press conference. The optimism surrounding this club can only be described as infectious and all are looking forward to the new season with excitement.
The above was the press release issued by WOFTAM Utd prior to the commencement of the league.......how the hell am i going to get any work done now at all ? I just hope i keep my job long enough for the season to commence let alone finish......i see a few of the regulars have signed up....good to see......lets the games begin
