2007 SAJSA State Championships - June 5, 2007

The South Australian Junior Soccer Association (SAJSA), 2007 State Championships will be held this June long weekend at Seaford Soccer Club, Norseman Street, Port Noarlunga South.

The event will be run by Noarlunga & Districts Junior Soccer Association (NDJSA).

Forty eight teams will be biding to become State Champions for 2007, with age groups for Under 11 to Under 16 boys teams and Under 13 and Under 16 girls teams, competing in 114 matches played over the three days.

Games commence at 8am through to the last kick off at 4pm.

Teams competing include, Adelaide Hills JSA, Elizabeth & Districts JSA, Noarlunga & Districts JSA, North West JSA, Western Border, Riverland, Port Pire and Broken Hill.

Congrats to both the Under 16 and 13 North West Girls who won the tournaments in their division, a credit to the coaches and the hard working volunteers to ensure such success.

Well done to all competitors, organisers, referees and officials.
There were some quality players out there.

I hope they turn out for Zone trials for the Talent Identification Championships in October.

I thought the whole tournament was very well run.

Congrats to the organisers, players, parents and the many many supporters. This is grass roots football at its best.
