bugga, i always thought they were twins cos they look pretty much the same, both of them in the same side would be a dominant force, has this crossed your mind at all robin, not doubt i'm sure it was and would be a massive boost for the gullies

When they are both in the same side one of them is always getting sent off for fighting. They are naturally always sticking up for each other and can let that brotherly bond spark their tempers a bit too much. So if robin did acquire Mark as well there probably wouldn't be too many games when they both actually played.

Both quality players though.

fair call, i know when i used to play with my bro, feel the same way......very different though as he was a keeper, not usually in the thick of things.......but when we played cricket together, boy did the runs flow freely!!!!!!

If there is a state side this year, does it mean that players selected will be fron the Sunday divisions or does this include Saturday divisions aswell ?

take on a state league side? where is the challange in that. the downs beat norlunga in the fed cup last year 5 nil. think a better match up would be playing against a top super league team.

Tony Reeves for captain for sure.

Scotty Wilson still makes up the ground very quick for a big fella, and the business about him spitting sounds very out of character and I think there is possibly more to the story there.

MORE TO THE STORY MY COIT. PLAYED IN THAT GAME AND SEEN THE SPIT. NOT GOOD FROM A BLOKE WITH THAT MUCH EXPERIENCE. BUT ISUPPOSE THATS WHAT YOU HAVE TO RESOURCE TO WHEN YOU ARE GETTING TOWELLED UP BY A LAD 15 YEARS YOUNGER THAN HIM. BY THE WAY HE PLAYED AWFULL THAT GAME TOO. TIME TO HANG EM UP I THINK.

Was at the game and definately not more to the story. Was an absolute discrace to see such an act from what I thought was a quality, well respected player in the amature leauge. Must be a sign that he is past it.

Brad Donovan from the Farm would have to be in that side is having a great year playing behind the front 2...is scoring every week now.
We are Liverpool Football Club and the expectations are so high.

Im not sure how it'll work for this season but last year 90% of the players selected come from Saturday sides (mainly the Jets). Nothing against the Jets players who played last season but i dont think there was much interest from the Sunday sides last year to be involved. I was asked but the comp runs at the end of the season and I need my breaks these days haha.

You are a complete tool Ronnie!!!!!!!!!!!! There is no way you would make the state team! Keep dreaming buddy. I do beleive you have to make first team to play in the state team.

Agreed but it is not a new one either. A Saturday v. Sunday game was held in the early or mid 90s.
