unfortunately SASI girls lost 5-1 to Adelaide Hills last night at Santos. Was a frustrating game to watch, SASI looked very good early but then the boys game plan of kick long and run onto it killed the girls. Defensive line up for the girls wasnt as sound last night but lets hope this will all improve.

head up girls.. keep goin..

get chi back in that defence and the voice and experience will win any game!!!
its funny how you cant shut em up when they r off the pitch but everyone goes into a shell when they have to play a game!! its not only sasi that has that problem i tihnk its nearly every player...

I was only there for the first half of the game (stayed for a while after the 'Rising Stars' training) - and going by the first half I did not expect to see a scoreline like that! First looked not too bad.

Gubs.........So is Ad Hills one of the TOP teams? Looking at the table on FFSA, there aren't too many below the girls. Might be time to swing some SIGNIFICANT changes and use the squad as it was intended. DEVELOPMENT of players for possible inclusion in the Matildas squads.

gubs wrote:Girls should have won quite comfortably. Still, a point is a point and now I think the girls have the next 4 games against teams in the lower half of the table so hopefully they can get a few wins under their belts

Two very good finishes by Victoria. Well done girls...

i dont study the fixtures as a hobby. I was out at the SASI vs Playford game last week and one of the girls mentioned that they have played the top teams so far and the next few weeks they have some matches against teams in the lower half of the draw. I didnt know they were playing Adelaide Hills this week before I posted my opinions on the Playford game

In answer to ur question yes Adelaide Hills is one of the top teams

What SIGNIFICANT changes do u propose

Changes: Re-definining what development means and thus taking the focus off results Because if results are your yard stick (and that's what we have always read about on here ) then the results have been poor. If the development of a player is paramount then you need to look at the success of the program by looking at the KPI's ie players making it to training camps and ultimately becoming a Matildas squad member. This is the ulitimate goal for any perosn in a SASI program?????

GUBS: The boys SASI squad only have players in there for a defined period ie 1 or 2 years. Not many (if any over say 20). The girls appear to be different. why?

they've got players makin regular camps so wats the issue there.. as far as results go the girls are all over them skill wise its jst that the boys kick n run and are obviously quicker than the girls therfore they get caught out..

SASI girls are different to SASI boys as the boys team is purely a development one. SASI girls team is an intensive training unit for all. It is an open age group team with national team selection in mind whether that be under 17's under 20's or senior level representation. Comparing SASI boys to SASI girls is like comparing chalk and cheese...
