A's: MSSC Blue Eagles 2 - 1 Greenock Town
B's: MSSC Blue Eagles 1 - 2 Greenock Town

Another good result for the A's, with Greenock playing the ball around nicely. We had the better of the chances, but didn't cope all that well with the slippery conditions. That said, we still dug deep and got the points.

VISTA RES 4-1 RAPTORS B's

Vista boys looked in control from the start, fantastic penalty save from Danny C and some very well taken goals from Mark D and Ben J. GREAT atitude from the whole team and once again wore the shirt with pride, good preperation for some tough weeks ahead.

black eagles 3-1 salisbury villa ( A's )

if it wasn't for luck against them, villa would've scored a bag today...having said that Black Eagles dominated the midfield...creating a lot of chances themselves

good well fought result, scored three early put their defence under pressure in the first half and came in at half time deserved 3 up.second half started the same 4 10 minutes then keeper sub and knights got a bit of a run on scoring and puttin us under the pump for spells , which increased our anxiety. they had long spells of pressure but their best efforts were from distance and in between we coulda nicked a few more. good result down south specially considering injuries, but the crown lager went down beautifully... cheers.. sorry couldnt stay knight, sick kid to deal with. good luck 4 year , banter was worth the trip..

Welcome to the forum SoccerNut. your first post i see. yet you read my spray at Leftfoot all those weeks ago and say something now? Who are you really or are you not game to reveal yourself?

Leftfoot 10 knows who I am it is just a matter of him and his mates working it out. When the time comes I will speak with them about the issue. Aside from that I see that West Beach are doing rather well this year. I sincerely congratulate them on their efforts and hope they stick it to all the other clubs. Football in the western suburbs is alive and well. (In fact it is alive and well everywhere).

Good luck against the Pumas this week. I saw them against Vikings yesterday. Neat team, sloppy at the back but will punish up front when they get chances.

Have a nice day...... :D

Knights v Gully

Not a bad game, given the conditions we started very slowly and our makeshift back 4 struggled with the Gully pressure. Conceded 3 early goals (all from set-pieces) and halftime couldn't come quickly enough. Changed things around at halftime and looked like a different team, although Gully were always dangerous on the break. Pulled one back, but too little to late. Shame the ref missed the penalty in the first half could have made it more interesting - but referee missed a blatant penalty the week before for West Beach so these things often even themselves out.

Reserves shocking day for us too many good players missing - hopefully we get them back before the league gets away from us

A's Para Hills East 2 v Ingle Farm 0
B's Para Hills East 0 v Ingle Farm 4
C's Para Hills East 2 v Ingle Farm 0
C2 Ingle Farm 4 v Bramha Lodge 0

A's
Story of the season so far for us. Had more possession, just didn't do enough with it. A semi lucky first goal for East and a well worked free kick with 5 mins to go did us. Whilst we had a lot more possession, I don't remember their keeper making to many saves. Very dissappointing result for us and East deserved their win. (It hurts to say that)

B's
Very impressive by the B's. Nil all at half time, we completely took them apart in the second.

C's
I got dropped to the C's and sacked the B Team coach for doing so. Not really but we had a good first half and terrible second. East worked the ball well out of their defence and we tried to by pass our midfield by knocking long balls. Only the 2nd game I've played in where we have lost in 12 months.

Oi, we do have a C team too.

In observers defence I must say that leftfoot10 is always quick to jump on any Fulham issues but I did not c him online when Beach got done 5-0 by TTG.

Nor was any1 (or at least from Fulham) having a cheap shot at that loss.

I think what was going on before is in the past so lets not get back into slanging matches.

Croatia 3
Pontians 1

Croatia scored early with a direct free kick and we equalized with a pretty good build up a cross into Theo who scored. A few big challenges were left unpunished by the ref and maybe a few of our boys thought about work the next day :( Croatias second goal was a good goal through ball down the line were the striker beat our stopper crossed it hard and low to the back post where a striker was there to volley home the goal, third again from set piece cross into box defender looked like getting it and didnt and Z Kuzman got the winner. 3-1 at half time. second half all Pontians had enough chances to win the game but didnt score. Croatia held on took their time and did very well to win and they let us know about it. Croatia took their chances we didnt. Good luck to them always knew they were a good side and with a few younger boys doing the running for KUzman and Radic and N kuzman at the back instead of upfront they look good. Dont know about their reserves though they where terrible but their first 11 where good on Sunday.

Bigpond,
Only just got back from Sydney today, Didnt play in that game. Didnt have the internet where i was staying so wasnt aware of the result.
For what i was told after seeing the result Beach was without serveral A players & That TTG played them off the park. Good luck to TTG We now get Some sundays off to have a drink the night before :D
Anyway why would you defend someone like observer who attacks people personally, bigpond you arent like that.

Disappointing result for the Pontians especially after resting the majority of the first term during the cup round. Seems the loss of some younger players has its effect on their ability to run out a game. Early days though and Pontians never say die.

i know observer personally and he is 1 of the nicest guys you could meet - he just had enough of the banter that was going on early in the season and let rip.

It is all in the past and lets put it behind us.

Good luck to Beach and good luck to yourself (whatever position or grade u play in).
