Hasn't been the same referee since mid last year (possibly something away from the game has changed him). Certainly handled the whole situation poorly. I think you will find that Mourinho keeps Mourinho in a job.

As for EPL managers sack race:

Sherwood, Rodgers and Mclaren are in the running. The Big Dick has been told he will have the job until the end of the contract at the Stadium of light with the club reluctant to continue the manager merry go round.

Our biggest problem is when Sherwood was appointed we needed instant results, Sherwood is the man for that situation, hype wears off as this season has shown, we are now back to where we were when we signed him, we need instant results, its just a merry go round that we'll be stuck on unless someone at Villa Park shows some big kahunas and signs a coach that has a long term plan and can implement it, we haven't even made Christmas and this season is on life support.
