Mourinho & Mancini (two managers who have won most trophies) claim Balotelli is unmanageable - Yet Rogers thinks he is going to manage Balotelli :?
Or is Rogers being a smart man, by plotting their failure to qualify for Europe - meaning they revert back to a 38 game season, play less games than all other challengers, keep his squad nice and fresh and have a premature climb up the EPL ladder - a lot like last season
If Suarez was around, it could mean something. But he isn't, so forget it.
End of, some ballsy decisions need to be made re squad for next season, whether or not BR is there.

That's the problem, if BR stays, how can anyone trust him to rebuild? Everytime the transfer window closes we are worse.

I think the only thing worse would be losing 6-1 at home to your cross town rival in a more meaningful game. Just trying to think if that's happened in the EPL in recent years.....

Win the league for Gerrard
Win a cup for Gerrard
Win at home for Gerrard
Win at Stoke for Gerrard

It'll be interesting to see if Van Gaal can back it up next year because I reckon he was lucky when he took over, partly because anything was an improvement on Moyes so expectations were low, but mainly because they only played 44 competitive games all season, much like Liverpool the season before, whereas Liverpool played 52 and Spurs 57 this year.
It makes a huge difference.

That's why spurs are in the same category as Everton, Newcastle, Fulham & Swansea. Just making up the numbers, providing competition for the top clubs. Winning is a habit, look at chelsea, didn't moan about being in Europa just went ahead and won the stupid thing.
Rodgers survives. Should be good for some more comedy next season then.

.......but ultimately win nothing! Personally I wouldn't be happy with that nor take any comfort. That being said though this unfortunately has become a Liverpool mentality - a far cry from when a once great club dominated Europe and were synonymous with success.

I know a few Spurs season I met holders and they were hoping Spurs didn't qualify for Europe.
The issue to fans is playing on a Sunday - nothing to do with the games or the comp IMO
Why would they care about games on a Sunday? Personally, I think all games (apart from one televised games) should be 3pm on a Saturday but why would spurs fans specifically not want Sunday games?

I would be happy and take a great deal of comfort if it was my lot
