Re: Recent trial games
Brahma Lodge are very good.
couldve been double figures. West Beach may struggle in Div 1 unless they had players missing.
Brahma Lodge will win Div 2 in a canter.

B's Peckers 1 Gardens 7
A's Peckers 0 Gardens 4
cheers for Gardens hosting us today, must be tough now club is out of bounds. Should be good once finished though.

Re: Recent trial games
Ressies - San Marco 9-10??? v 0 Aldinga
12-13 unavailable players makes for a very tough day at the office but we played on. Pretty much one way traffic all game and San Marco are a well drilled outfit.
First Team - San Marco 3 - 2 Aldinga
Some good signs against quality opposition. We were a little sloppy for their first goal but went into the half 2-1 up. second half we made a couple of changes and didn't play as well as we did in the first. San Marco had the better of the 2nd half and probably should've added to the scoreline. Must say the guy who played left wing/forward in the second half for San Marco had the smallest pair of shorts on I've ever seen lol
The guy who scored the winner also celebrated like he'd just won the title lol
All in all a good hit out for us before we play Strath in the cup round. Good luck for the Season San Marco.

“Well done lad, but remember, you’re still only half as good as I was” – Dixie Dean to Bob Latchford after his 30th league goal in ’78

Rebecca Lawrence cup
modbury jets v PHE
Great day out as always in memory of a fantastic lady & to raise money for a great cause (heart foundation)
A's 3-2 to jets
B's 3-2 to jets (I think)
C's not sure but how the hell did you jets lads let Andy Locke score?!
The A's was a good hit out & I do think jets deserved the win. They will be up there in div1 Saturday this year with their midfield. that number 18 is my bet for player of the year.
Easties still have a lot to work on, but with still missing a few, we will be right come round 1 in a few weeks.

He popped the bone near the knee cap out, had to be pushed back in. Probably out for about 8 weeks. You Too wrote:How's the grove guy who got injured on the cricket pitch? Looked nasty, hopefully its not as bad as it looked.pecker wrote:Peckers vs Gardens
