Fairly happy with that. Great to see Juric and Burns in there. Well done Euge on making another major tournament!

Yeah I feel Bozanic is very unlucky. He's been starting in Switzerland and IMO had a very good WC.
I don't think the others are playing all that much. Smith has moved back to Liverpool and is playing U21s now.

I still can't understand what more Elrich needed to do to get picked. He's be a regular in the HAL team of the week.
Another issue IMO, only three out and out CB's picked. Surely Boog's form this season would have him in contention.

I'm sure that makes me sound very biased! :D

Elrich yes. He has been the best full back in Australia this season but I'm not sure boogs is international standard.

He's been involved in a lot of fc ingolstadt's goals this season. The club is currently top of Bundesliga 2.
Ryan, Jedi and Leckie will be the first three names on the board.

You guys are dreaming if you think Matt mackay and Ivan franjic won't be starting

I cannot understand how Franjic got selected over quite a few A League players - I've never rated him.
The older I get the better I was.

Did you watch the Chile game in the WC? He was excellent.

Yes I suspect AP will play Franjic at RB as he obviously loves him, but frankly I am horrified at that prospect.
To his credit Franjic has played well over the last couple of HAL seasons but international level is a whole new ball game.
IMO it has been shown that he is simply not up to it or even close to being up to it.

As it happens I still struggle to understand why AP totally disregarded Luke Wilkshire for the RB position.
I assume AP believes Wilkshire cannot play his style of football.
However, I think AP is is in fantasy land if he thinks this.
Maybe Wilkshire isn't the most technically gifted player in the world.
However, gets a game in the Eredivisie for Feyenoord every week - he must be alright!
He plays Europa League as well.
And he has big game experience as well as tough/horrible to play against when he wants.
He should be in the team before Franjic every day of the week.
I also suspect that he may have an opinion about things that AP does not want to have to deal with - and that's weak for a coach.
I hope I'm wrong but I suspect the RB position may turn out to be our "Achilles heel".
