Not good enough to be getting a guaranteed spot in the CL any more. Serie A only has one team in it now, not sure why that's happened, but to win the league by 17 points says something's wrong. Fourth place last year were 37 points behind Juve.
Bundesliga was won by 19, with fourth 29 behind, La Liga was 3 and 20 and EPL was 2 and 7.
Kind of shows which leagues are the most competitive.

What was your thought process when you decided to make this topic a day before your team plays Real Madrid?
Roma have often crashed to heavy defeats for some reason. They have a quality side and this is just a bad day at the office.
Liverpool are certainly up against it, they haven't looked good so far and Real have been rampant.
Only one way to turn a season around and that could be tomorrow? I wouldn't place money on them to beat Real through.

Serie A should get 1 CL spot? A one team league?
All this after 1 game?
Clearly the only league you watch is the Premier an the odd CL highlights package.

1. I'm surprised one wasn't created already
2. I dont go into hiding when my team has a rough trot
3. I thought it might keep some Man U followers at bay as clearly they'd have little or no interest in it.

You need to watch more and talk less.
Not really about the fact they got thumped, that happens sometimes even to good teams, more that Serie A has become so uncompetitive all of a sudden. I rarely watch it so what's happened?

Serie A should only have one spot...like other leagues too - but that's another argument.
Juve were a machine last season, very hard to stop. That sort of season comes around rarely, and i you want to go through winning margins, well look further back than one year because that's as big as it's been for a while.

I agree in team per country plus the reigning Champions League winners.
How can a team who finish 4th in the EPL year after year play in the Champions League?
$$$$$$$$$$
Bring back to champion only, and make it knockout like before too. Over two legs except for final.
They had the old UEFA cup for teams that finished top 4 or so (to keep incentives alive) and all they need to do here is seed some of the teams in stronger leagues here until some if the minnows have battled it out.
Same old from Juve of recent seasons. The mentality in Europe, especially away from home, is so far removed from that in Serie A. Desire not shown, too relaxed and only willing to play when it's desperate and the game needs saving. Very frustrating.

Yes but if you have so many teams from each country (old UEFA Cup scenario) there'd be far too many teams. Have round 1 and 2 where the teams from Lichtenstein, Gibraltar etc play off first, a bit like the English FA Cup. Then throw them all in for random draw after that.
As for Real Madrid this morning - amazing performance, would have beat anyone I reckon. Even they were acknowledged by Liverpool fans after the game, which says plenty.
Only thing worse than the result was being silly enough whilst waiting for highlights from other games to listen to Foz and crew rabbit on after the game. Painful

Arsenal’s cunning plan of sucking Anderlecht in by appearing slow, lacklustre and disinterested for the first 88 minutes then hitting them with 2 quick goals worked brilliantly.

We look as if we lack a bit of confidence at the minute..

Liverpool in the Champions league, completely out of their depth.

You think teams would work this out by now, they've been doing this since 1893.
Ludogrets beating Basel was a big favour.
Still should go through.
Only making up the numbers in the knockout rounds, but landing the group winner in C or H would be good.
Huge win. Great spirit shown after we went behind, much better approach from the start. But not scoring that fourth could come back to haunt us - Olympiacos have the better head-to-head record now. We have to get four points (assuming Atletico beat Olympiacos next game).
