What does Team Manager role involve

I see the title "Team Manager" listed next to a few Junior teams in our club. My son's team hasn't had a Team Manager this year, but I would like to help out so I am considering putting my name up for this role next season - can someone provide details about what the role of Team Manager involves?

Depending on which level JPL or Miniroos depends on the 'additional' tasks that would be expected of a Team Manager.

The Main one is ensuring that all players know where they are playing, what time and if they cant make it that they have advised you with enough time to organise replacements.

If in JPL / JSL then you are writing up the team sheet, ensuring there's rosters for linespeople, setting up and taking down nets, ground steward. ALso rostering players off (if a large squad) and making sure that someone has brought a half time snack...ie oranges.

It might not sound much but the role is like herding cats if some families are not able to assist.....
