Villa made hard work of this. They scored first and really should have been three or four goals up by the time Flinders equalised midway through the first half. The winner came with about ten to go.

Third week in a row I've attended a game officiated by the same referee. After last week at Hahndorf it was interesting to note some Villa players wore white socks whilst others wore grey (albiet it a light shade of grey). Adelaide Villa were definitely the better team on the day but it took them forty minutes to score the opening goal. The second was just a few minutes later. The third came on 75 minutes.

Sturt scored first in the 5th min , Wanderers equalized straight from the kick off and scored again mid - way thro' first half .
Half - time = 2 : 1
58 min , Sturt Marion had a goal attempt cleared off the line and then Wanderers counter attacked and Storino scored .
Could have been 2-2 at that point , but was 3-1 . How often does that happen during a season .
Full Time = 3 : 1.
Both teams with half a dozen players missing thro' injury , or , suspension .
