SUNDAY RESULTS 6th July
C Team sun div 6
Maco's 5-5 PHE
Good fight back from easties after being down 5-3 with 10 to go. Big mention for the ref, was fair all the way in a very fiery game. Great use of his linesman who was also honest. Great to see. A negative side note from a few of maco's players, one in particular who hit one of easties players in the jaw behind play. Pretty unsat. Same player refused to shake hands after. Another note calling someone a d$&khead is not racist. Doesn't where you're from....you can still be a dic$&ead! Maco's need to take a chill pill.

When seagulls follow a trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

Downs are 1 nil up against inter at half time
There is no I in team, but there is a u in suck...
Re: SUNDAY RESULTS 6th July
Downs won 5 nil, Trimmers with 3 and missed a penalty. Tommy and Nathan on the card as well. Inter barely had a shot in anger. Ressies drew nil all and the c,s lost 2 or 3 nil, weren't there so need to confirm.....legga wrote:Downs are 1 nil up against inter at half time

Maco's 0 - Easties 1
Another good grind to get the win. Could've had a few more, but will keep taking 1 nil wins for the rest of the year.
Maco's put up a pretty good fight (pun intended
) & should stay up I reckon.

Re: SUNDAY RESULTS 6th July
Inter were all over the Downs playing silky attractive football and were unlucky not to get a result.
Re: SUNDAY RESULTS 6th July
The above comment is utter bollox.
Another team that thought that targeting a playmaker would blunt the Downs attack and another team that has been flogged.

So what's the official reason this game was "postponed"?Robbo wrote:Beach vs Farm

Was it because the pitch was in such dire condition or because West Beach didn't have a full team?

Re: SUNDAY RESULTS 6th July
South Coast [1] v [3] Port Pirie A's
Game started off well from both teams with Pirie taking the lead right before Doug Wade fired a bullet of a free kick to make it even. Our CF then twice blasted the woodwork before Pirie took the lead & then scored again to put the game to bed.
South Coast [2] v [1] Port Pirie B's
The first half saw some decent football from both sides but ended without a goal. Pirie came out in the second half and netted before South Coast produced a well executed corner which resulted in our new lad Ben scoring on his 2nd game for us. Benny then cleared the ball from the back line which allowed our CF to jump onto and run it into the net.
