do we keep the points and everyone else gets a forefeit?
or do we lose the points?
Only issue is that for those teams that would now lose the 3 points, it could turn into the difference between promotion and/or relegation.
I'd say all teams should get a forfeit win so those that have already played them dont lose any points

The only teams disadvantaged would be Payneham and Raptors as they only beat them by 1 goal.swannsong wrote:That doesn't make sense...if they have lost all games so far and you give teams that haven't played them a forfeit win...they cancel each other out....what if goal difference decided promotion or relegation ?Frank Costanza wrote: As it happens, AYS had lost every game so far this year.

Bosna beat them 4-1 and we (Polonia) beat them 2-0.
I understand that removing all results is the easiest way to do it, and it's the precedent that has been set previously, so compared to the bigger issue at hand of the game being brought into disrepute (repeatedly) by these guys, the handling of points isn't much of a concern.

Not sure. Reading on here was the first I'd heard of it. I'm sure there are a couple of their players who would just like to play football but it seems the ones that just want to act like idiots are finally being found out. Whether the whole club is suspended/expelled or a couple or individuals are will hopefully be cleared up soon.bloodypassit wrote:Irishglover wrote:Good to hear they've been suspended. It's about time something was done about that carry on. Hopefully the main culprits were identified and arnt just allowed to join another team or form yet a new one next season
Are they suspended while under investigation or are they expelled from the competition

It's days like yesterday where I just want to hand in the players cards to the league and tell them I don't need to put up with this crap ,, and have my Sundays back ,,, instead off putting up with a cheating linesman

Re: RESULTS SUNDAY 25th MAY
AYS have been taken out for the rest of the year it is my understanding. They will be replaced next game by Young Stars of Adelaide (not a related club). AYS have agreed to sell them the strips and provide them with alot of players due to their clubs suspension. Obviously none of the trouble makers will be playing. Ha Ha Ha

Despite getting humped every week, it's good to get 'officials' for games in Division One, like all of us, they make mistakes but at least they don't cheatcolon clenser wrote:It's days like yesterday where I just want to hand in the players cards to the league and tell them I don't need to put up with this crap ,, and have my Sundays back ,,, instead off putting up with a cheating linesman

Pretty sure the Angle Vale linesman should get his elbow checked, he didnt seem to be bend it to lower the flag. Hope its ok.
Clear onside goal disallowed within 20 seconds of the 2nd half restart. Granted 25% were probably offside, 75% of the 30 offsides were definitely not offside.
Overall a hard effort from both teams going hammer and tongs till the final whistle

Vale's hunger and fight was very impressive yesterday and not too sure about any of their newcomers but the Nicholls boys - Vale legends - who have played in one or two Elizabeth derbies were really impressive leading from the front and showing what it means to play in these games. Vale's keeper also outstanding.

Whats the point of posting the score twice mate? also last I checked we also give a six pack to the away teams best player...... lolMonkey Boy wrote:Massive result for Fulham today! Anyone with a write up? Maybe the loud mouth wearethegully could post? Very very unusually quiet...
Also massive result for ABE. Did you guys get an influx of players or just put away your chances?
Thanks to saints for a good solid game today. Thought it was pretty poor that only about 5 people came back in for a beer. Especially since we are about the only div 2 club to give a six pack to best opposing player. It'd be great if teams would support each other...

yea Fulham boys were all over us , put away their chances. was a bad day for gully, couldn't finish a hard on! thanks for the food boys, looking forward to the next clash!Se7en wrote:Fulham controlled the game pretty much from start to finish. Gully play a very nice formation which allows their midfielders a lot of space to work in. Thought Fulham kept possession well, created a lot of chances, finished well and won most of the contested possessions. Game was played in really good spirits. Thanks to the gully boys for supporting our bar as well. Will return the favour when we visit. As usual things are tightening up in div 2. 4 points separating the majority of the league.Monkey Boy wrote:Massive result for Fulham today! Anyone with a write up? Re: RESULTS SUNDAY 25th MAY
don't go blaming our linesman for the laziness of your strikers, your number 11 was offside more times than i have had hot dinners. I'm sure not 100% of our lines mans calls were correct id admit that but everyone stuffs up at some stage. the fact your saying that we are cheats when your lines man told the ref " he doesn't give a f**k about the game and his flag would be up every time" at the end of half time........ i would call that pot calling the kettle black wouldn't you? the game was hard fought and a draw was a deserving result for both sides.

Keeper was really good BUT heard he is off to Europe in the next couple of weeks, Ross was in the Ressies made a couple of great saves!!! Damien Stam was signed on Friday and done well for them, Daniel and Chris played very well and I thought Mark Burbridge played a very good game, so close yet no win, hope they go on and find the way to stay up Div 1 wouldn't be the same without The Vale!! Must say it was a great crowd also!!!

I suggest your strikers get out on the track practice their runs

Also, that linesman is the same linesman who gave you a goal last season while runming the line.
Can guarantee you that if they weren't offside, he wouldn't have put the flag up.
But yes, great game, and very well fought out for the full 90. Look forward to return leg hopefully with the same intensity. Til then, all the best.
