If anyone is interested the Downs have a friendly this friday night against local rival's Munno Parvo's. I think the ressie's kick off at 6.30pm and the A's at 8.00pm. Grub and plenty of booze available, club opening at 6.00pm. Be good to welcome a few old Downs lads back to Argy Park and we promise Tom to take it easy on you....not.... Is Liam playing because we have a sweep going on when he will get sent off.....

No legga, after speaking to Liam on the weekend I believe he is out for a few weeks with a shoulder injury. I am definately looking forward to the game though, and to catch up with the boys after.

The curse of the Downs v Munno Para hit again with an obscure fuse blowing all lights to pitch and club, eventually located over other side of netball courts.Power restored at 10.30. Yet again another attempt to play munno shut down early. 4th time lucky next year....

Looked pretty good they will do alright in div 2, had a good turn out of their supporters as well.Good bunch of lads as well, a pity the night was wrecked by our wizz bang lights having a melt down...
