Spirit2007 is an Asian team, and are a joke. Went to watch a bit of their game against Polonia - they were wearing white Bonds tops with numbers written in texta on the back!

Thats Old School, Florina Ressies had the same strip back in 1970.
Poor game by Asteras, even though the scoreline, looked much different from other preseason matches, started the match with a couple of B players to give them a run and the pace wasnt as fast as seen in other matches this preseason.
omonia put up a good fight considering the age difference. asteras played the last 25 mins with 10 men (send off) and still managed to score 3 goals.

Yeah i was at that match, you could tell Asteras was missing something special. most likely a Malone.

It was classic... their linesman asked us what he was supposed to do as linesman, and after we told him he was to call throw-ins and offsides, he asked what the offside rule was!

Asteras is looking like a poor outfit this year.

Yes FC Adelaide did have a big 7-1 win against
the former named Central Ghan team. The warm
weather coupled with a very bumpy pitch made
playing good soccer virtually impossible.
At the end of the day a win is a win, but I seriously
doubt any of the players or officials of the club would
read too much into the result. Harder and much skilled
opponents than Central Ghan will be awaiting in upcoming
rounds.
