you might have to ask the gryphon player who came on and took a swing at one of the raptors behind play (he did it right in front of the gryphon substitute bench!!!!).

both teams were hard at the ball, there were some rash tackles but no-one was hurt (even rosskunt, who spends more time lying on the ground than playing on it came back on  ).

the raptors were down to 10 men at the 15 min mark (straight red) but then went on to win 2-0.

players mingled after the game and coaches wished each other well for the year.

all finished well. lets not blow it out of proportion!!!

reserves: gryphons 3-1
pitch conditions - dewy but good
lighting - good
match ball - crap!!!!!
changerooms - would rather change in the budapest 'shed'
BBQ - where the F#@$ was it??????

yeah no worries man  i neva drop for no reason, and for the record i only dropped three times the whole game and none were over reacted they were just dirty tackles. End of the day the game should've been called off earlier, and dont talk about our players causing trouble wen one of ur players who i wont mention was running around and elbowing people in the back of the head behind play to more than one player, no wonder u dont wana blow it out of porportion

little boy loss, i mean ross, i was being diplomatic so that i wouldnt have to mention how a certain ex limnos player was targeting the raptors (i think he tried 3 times in one passage of play)!!! we were tough on the ball, nothing behind play!!!

the substitute who can on and had a go behind play was mouthing off about how he was going to get him while on the bench - seems pre-meditated to me!!!

my dig at you was said tongue in cheek, thus the wink!! (nothing personal)if you want me to blow wind up you aaarse, yes ok, you were by far the most dangerous gryphon player when on the park

if anyone had a problem, it should have been said last night, not on here!!. like i said, the coaches greeted each, shook hands with the ref, players mingled after the game, get over it!!!

Diplomatic???

It seems Megabonus you are only diplomatic when it suits you.

That is the trouble with your teachers, you know everything.

Your first sentence is in regards to a Gryphons player coming off the bench to hit somebody behind play. Did this occur during the play? If this is what you are suggesting you are a liar.

Why dont you write about what incited the spitefulness.

One of your players who felt he was tackled against the laws of the games two or three times but the ref didnt give it. He then took the law into his own hands and put in a disgraceful tackle on RossKunt. And dont tell me that tackle was tough, it was from behind, studs were showing and it was late. Absolutely deserved the red card.

From then on your post (tongue in cheek of course) criticises the ball and the changerooms. Is it our home ground? No, sorry but it was the best we could do. The ball? Was it leather and did it have stitching? Yes, faarrrkkkinnngggg play with it.

If you want to speak facts, more than happy to do so. Did Imbros deserve their victory? Of course they did they were by far the better side on the night even when going a man down.

ive have sent you a pm - read it pleae!!!

look, my reply to the original post was not intended to incite further malakies. maybe my humour isnt appreciated when writing it rather than speaking it.

i know the ground is not yours!!!! thats why you shouldnt get offended.

the ball the gryphons provided was at best a training ball (no tragedy there). the funny moment came (and i guess you had to be there) was when a gryphon player looked at our bench and asked us for a match ball.

thirdly - if youve been round long enough, many clubs in the SAASL lay claim to having the best BBQ - i guess we were hoping to scoff a few souvlakia after the game!!

and BTW - i never complained about the red!!!

lets all do both clubs a favour, especially the committees, who work hard to promote both clubs and see it for what it was - a game played with a bit of emotion at times amongst people who now each other which ended OK!!

Your original post was nothing more than an attempt to incite further malakies from a thread sarted by an Adelaide Galaxy player.

I have nothing more to say on the topic (unless further rubbish is written) and you can claim the moral high ground that you seek MegaBonus.

However MegaBonus does have a point RossKunt that at the end it could of ended much worse if calmer heads did not prevail.

And the game was emotional, it must of been the exhaust fumes from Greenhill Road or the moon.

thought the pm was for Paleon Patros Germanos. look im not that fussed, the game was dirty, some of the players were dirty, and some cuntz like me and little micky got punished. players that know me, would know that i am a fair and honest player who always steers clear from domestics, i tend to talk with my feet than my mouth or fists, but the two player tackle on me was totally unjust and unexcuseable :?

thats all i have to say :!:

youre not an issue man!!!

anything that happened on the park was dealt with by the ref (mind you, how no grphon player got a yellow card amazed us).

my concern is anything that might get written on the forum!

those that were there saw it!!!

things were a little heated v the gryphons.

reason 1
players always want to play well against former team-mates and/or adversaries

reason 2
raptors coach stressed to his team that there were a few positions up for grabs thus many of the boys were playing for a place in the first 11 v TTG.

reason 3
we are going to play in a physical league this year, so we must prepare accordingly (with hacks like yourselves  , vista, TTG and croatia)

good to hear from you sir knight. how are you shaping up for you blokes this year??? weve heard about some of your good results!

the referee was disgraceful... should of took control of the match earlier...

if that was technically a red card, then how many red cards did you blokes deserve? Im not saying that tackle wasnt rash and in the heat of the moment... but the ref let 3 or 4 nasty challenges go without a card!

yeah the referee should've been alot more harsh in the beginning to prevent further dirty tackles. Still it's no excuse for some of the tackles.

Your absolutely right Lftwng 11.

There could of been another 5-6 red cards and that is no exaggeration.

Our right full back + left mid and your two brothers.

They want to fight do it off the park. A couple of more red cards and it would of put everyone in their place.

What Ive been trying to say but it seems MegaBonus cant understand me is that both sides were to blame.

No need to point fingers it was coming from both sides.

And yes the ref could of done a better job.

mmm I vaguely remember scoring against Imbros on the edge of the 18 when playing for Navarino, in Navarino's first ever game scoring the clubs first ever goal (even if it was a friendly :) ) ... oh those were the days...

so you agree with me then about the refereeing????

so whats the arguement then????

gee there are some whinging greeks out there. play it hard, abide by the refs decision, even if you dont agree and shake hands afterwards. whats so hard to understand???

the only mistake we made was not bringing our strongest team out!!

also. i never said we were angels. i just responded to the question about the all in brawl. we didnt start it!!!

u talk so much crap no offence, u think the fight was started by the gryphons, wen a player is running around elbowing people and kicking them whilst on the ground, its eventually gonna come to an abrupt end. the player im talking about was even bragging about elbowing our midfielder in the back of the head behind play to his team mates, so u cant argue the fact that it was an event that we started, it was a longtime coming.

Unless they have changed Croatia are no hacks!

We have had a low key build up, looks quite good this year - have Pontians first up and are hoping to lose by less than 5!

Still not 100% sure whether I'm playing this year or just playing Masters too many young lads in Division 2!

Great to see passion amongst friends!

if you want to criticise me for sticking up for our boys by all means go for it. i havent shirked the issue that we didnt play hard cause we did.

if the ref saw fit to issue a straight red inside the first 15 min, why would he let our player get away with
elbowing people and kicking them whilst on the ground
????

im happy to leave it there. weve had bad experience with limnos and this forum, its not our style!!!!!

only hero's make issues of it off the park!!!!!

sorry to suprise u but im not a hero!

and in regards to "?????", if u dont know who i am talking about then this is pointless, why dont u ask ur friends to help u with that. ur player was seen by many at least 3 times doing something behind play to another player, unprovoked aswell...

END OF STORY

not gonna waste my time with this anymore, u said wat u had to say and i said wat i had to say, its just too bad we couldnt come to an agreement, maybe it was u lacking to take any blame, or me just voicing my opinion which you disbelieve. we will just leave it to other people on the forum to judge. 8)
