Blackburn Rovers are ready to raid Juventus for Australian international midfielder James Troisi.
The former Newcastle United has flown in for talks with Rovers about joining on a season-long loan deal.
Troisi is being lined up as a replacement for Morten Gamst Pedersen, the veteran midfielder who is in Turkey and about an exit.
The 25-year-old is joint-owned by Atalanta and both Italian sides are happy for him to move to the Championship for first-team action.

Re: Blackburn in for Troisi
I've just checked the Blackburn website and all of their fan's forums and there is no mention of Troisi anywhere - is this a another press page filler story?

Norwich have been linked, while last week Troisi said Atalanta have allowed him to stay in England and look for a club for a loan deal.
