Interesting to see Blue Eagles best player on bench for B's
Tall striker?
Yes Dorian
I believe that was punishment for some disciplinary issues
Would have to be because his an outright wanker

No Div 1 team should have forfeits in any grade IMO

First game played against him he was a dirty cheat who played for the foul most of the time and smiling about it aswell.swannsong wrote:Played alright when he came on for the Reserves and seemed alright to chat to.Guess Who wrote: Would have to be because his an outright wanker
And the second game he was on the sideline not even playing and he runs on and when theres a scuffle and then kicks someone and goes at another person

A's: Munno Para 1- TTG 1 (game of two halves, fair result)
B's: Munno Para 1- TTG 0
That draw sees both Gully and Munno Para safe from relegation. Look forward to keeping the rivalry going next year!

but I think the pitch could have handled 3 games ....
maybe the lack of available players was the issue ..
many away injured suspended possibly they found
it hard to fill all three teams....

Seaford probably would beat The Ghan at home next week if they didn't choose to not play.

Re: SUNDAY RESULTS
Southern Knights ( 1 ) MSSC Blue Eagles ( 0 )
Tom Foglia
A single goal from Tom Foglia (his 17th of the season) early in the first half was enough to separate the two sides at O'Sullivan Beach today.
Knights were without regular keeper Stephen Maguire (country championships) but Ben "Touch" Vidgeon displayed why he is highly valued as a fill in keeper whenever required.
Knights were also missing Matthew Harrison (injured) David Mooney (susp) and Scott Bradley (holidays) but welcomed back Aaron O'Toole, Jamie Faulkner and Tom Foglia.
Not one of Knights best performances but just enough to stay on the heels of top placed Florina.
Southern Knights ( 2 ) MSSC Blue Eagles ( 2 )
Dustin McMahon ...................... C. Cirocco
Charlie Hollis ..........................A. Malekizadeh
Probably one of Southern Knights reserves most disjointed and poor performances of the current season.
A much stronger looking Blue Eagles took the lead from the penalty spot following an unnecccesary foul but Knights temporarily redeemed themselves when Dustin McMahon converted a penalty at the opposite end.
Blue Eagles second goal came from a searching free kick that they slotted home from close range.
After the break Phil Smith made a couple of fine saves to keep Knights in the game and eventually Charlie Hollis levelled the game with a superb free kick.

What was the score in the Reserves (or is that what you have in brackets ?)Barney Rubble wrote:Para Hills Lion 1 (0) v (1) 3 Para Hills East.
Regardless of the result this was a game where the ref had control of the game and the players.
Thanks to the Lions for setting up the BBQ & beers which is a great effort when you are sharing facilities.

dont see why a +35's player should have to go fill in for a c team when the guy has signed up to play 35's, unless the guy is willing too, which i very much doubt as it would be dropping down in standardbomber Harris wrote:terminator wrote:Interesting :? .....seems the norm of late Vale C's forfeiting against the top 3 teams in Div 6Time Waster wrote:Vale decemated by injuries through all grades afew C's playing up grades to cover losses.

lol, yeh spot on, 35's is just a social kickaround for the older blokes, cannot blame them for "not stepping up to c team"The Northern Lights wrote: dont see why a +35's player should have to go fill in for a c team when the guy has signed up to play 35's, unless the guy is willing too, which i very much doubt as it would be dropping down in standard

Two very scrappy games, pitch didn't help, so overused always cuts up really badly in last 3rd of the season. In the B's both teams were disappointed with a draw, with plenty of chances going begging, also I think all 22 players were unhappy with referee but anyway no team could feel robbed on that performance
In the A's we ground out a win to keep our faint hopes of winning the league alive however wasn't pretty, hope we get a few back for next week, but it is what it is
Are you Bodo in disguise?

with that form its a pity you cant take points from Ghan this week !!Hatchet Squad wrote:Reserves - El Salvador 0 - 4 Seaford

Dominant displays by both grades. Pity we find great form towards the back end of the season.
